I live in a huge city, but everyone on the coasts just assumes we're riding around on cows in the cornfields.
Like froot says. Not sure what is considered 'inter-coastal' but been to Chicago, St Paul's, Minneapolis, Houston, New Orleans, Tucson and none of them are cows & cornfields...

That too, of course. My personal religion aside, where I live has the largest concentration of Somalis in the US, and a lot of them are Muslim.

I live in New York STATE, so I have two stereotypes to deal with; the first is when I'm traveling, people look at the license plate & assume I'm from "the" city. Oh Puhlease! That sucker is hundreds of miles and several lifetimes away from me for a reason! (Sorry Kate, I know YOU love it.
) The second, is that I'm an uncultured hick... (see the above comment about corn and cows). Oh Puhlease! If eating snails and overpaying for haircuts makes one cultured... then you are right... that "Ain't me!"
