I'm straight. And there's a difference between saying "Hey, that's a good-looking guy" and "Hey, I want to plow that guy" for people who have said they have absolutely zero attraction to other members of the same sex.

The Kinsey Scale should have been used in the poll.

That said, I am a 2 on the Kinsey scale, but for the sake of this poll I put straight.

As an arrow.

Me too.

I am a heterosexual male although I don't have much practice at it.

Straight.

Let's face it. Girls are automatically hotter than guys.

Although in my defense, I'm British and we're supposedly amongst the worlds ugliest people.

Really? It seems like every time there's some new hot huge breasted model making the rounds of the Internet these days she's English.

Sometimes they're Brazilian.

Understanding the difference does not mean that I have to agree with it though.

I'm heterosexual, it seems, though I certainly know what I consider to be good looks in a male human. And I've noticed I tend towards somewhat androgynous appearance (I prefer smaller breasts on women than larger, for instance. It's a bit of a running joke with friends in that I'll moan how large breasts conceal a woman's figure and they'll say "but they are practically a woman's figure!" ;)). But when it comes to sexual conduct I seem heterosexual, which is interesting in that my sexuality is geared towards a more emotional/spiritual connection than a physical desire. I'm not asexual, but actual desire for sexual contact is dependent on my sense of a "spiritual" bond and so, as of yet, my recognition of attractive figures and faces hasn't translated to active sexual feelings.

I actually find my heterosexuality interesting. I mean, I could theoretically form the same emotional and intellectual bonds with a man as with a woman, I could love a man, spend my life with a man, raise children with a man...but I wouldn't want to have sex with a man. That just doesn't...work...for me. And because I consider all forms of love highly valuable, sexual intercourse is rather important to me as a marker of the mating bond specifically. If I don't have sex with them, we're not cementing that most sacred of relationships. So it seems that theoretical person I spend my life with, etc, will be a woman, because the body seems to be programmed into "heterosexual" mode.
