Speaking of voices... (switching sides) I know most don't like him around here, but I could sit and listen to Robert Beltran read the phone book.

It is a good thing when you're voice is distinctive enough for people to recognize it, and Kate's is certainly that. While her voice might not approach the dulcet tones of Patrick Stewart's, she does well enough to get some pretty awesome voice jobs in games, commercials, audio books, etc. Is it sexy? Well, she makes money with it, and I find money very sexy.

I have NEVER seen that movie... and I don't think I want to if that's still ringing in your ears! (I have that problem with Glen Close and bunny rabbits!)

I don't recommend it. It wasn't very good.

But Faye was crazy in it. And it gives me satisfaction whenever I call my mom "Mommy Dearest" as I walk out and she yells the hanger line after me.

Oh, and that New Zealand chick, what's her name? Played #3 in BSG... Lucy Lawless. I loved her voice in BSG for a couple reasons, they let her accent free, and it was becoming much more naturally mature than even when she tried to rein it in on XWP.

I have never seen Lucy Lawless in BSG or for that matter Xena.

I would listen to Beltran read the phonebook. I think that's the only reason why I have a podcast of him on my iPod.

Oh, and by the way I love this "play" they are reading. I think its the reason I bought the box set of Xena. These two seemed so natural and funny together, I wanted to see the show.

Have always loved her voice. Always thought Jennifer Lien had a great sultry old skool voice also, especially coming out of such a cute pixie character as Kes My other faves:

Joan Greenwood

I have an affection for old time actors/actresses that belies my age. Feel I was born in wrong era

As for Dame Liz...another great voice and sad loss.

Such a tragic loss. She was mine and my mom's favorite. I had to break the news to her, I don't think she's cried this much over a celebrity dying since Princess Di . . .

My Clapper stopped working!!!!

I am very, very unhappy about this. Now I have to turn my lamp on and off manually like a choob. I'm not pleased at all.
