"And don't ask me why I'm wearing this completely archaic eye-patch that'll likely cause me a severe brain infection. In hindsight a glass-eye and some skin-grafts would've been a better idea."

I half-expected him to have a patch of gauze and two pieces of tape.

Wow I got some serious Stargate vibes from the cast. From Brent Stait to Shanks to Alaina huffman. Plus the whole iris at watchtower

I think shutting down Watchtower was a bit more dramatic than it needed to be.

Me, tomorrow, when I leave the office. I'm shutting down the office. I stand there dramatically as I hit the button to close the auto-shades for the window, the fan in the room and turn off the light switch. "For now... until tomorrow, I'm shutting down my office."

Heheh.

The entire VRA thing is completely over-the-top. Thankfully, Darkseid's influence can be used to explain. Otherwise, there's no chance in hell the government would have guys marching around in what are basically Nazi uniforms.

Well.. in defense they actually had the cliche build up a lot of tv/movie romances have with the love hate thing over time...

True. Still, I think what I'm driving at here is that he seemed to get over Lana awfully fast, given that he went right back to her when she appeared at the Doomsday Wedding in Season 8.

eh.. it's like close to 2 years in time now so that's plenty of time and he was with Lois then but just got sidetracked by a past love which isn't all that unusual...

Someone tell Old Navy their commercials aren't entertaining, whimsical or making me want to buy their products. It just reminds me of how much better I was at "selling" a can full of used cooking oil in a fake commercial I made with my parent's VHS camcorder.

You also need to walk away slowly(Micheal Bay style)

You're probably right. I guess he just fixated on her ta-tas.

I must have missed something as I can't quite figure out how this situation has escalated to this point.

There was a Mutant Registration Act... or something.

But Colonel One-Eye was using it as a front to capture and trap superheroes. Clark found the prison and destroyed it resulting in One Eye's losing an Eye. (This becoming One Eye.) Now, it seems, between that and some people claiming Ollie kicked some dude's ass now Nazis are here and Future Guy is going to come and kill us.

Or something.

I may have missed something too.
