This is a really good episode so far, the tone is perfect, the music choice so far is perfect, sets the tone nicely, the pacing is excellent.

I'm sad Ginn and Perry are dead, I wouldn't have thought it would have killed both of them, so what happened to the other body on the other side, is the body still alive but with no mind? Or is the body dead too? They need to explain this better.

The gate in the desert there is so just beautiful, so glad this is not planet Canada. It really is a nice place there they are using.

The tension is pretty good so far in this ep.

Don't know why Earth is so worried about an attack from the Lucian Alliance though still, using goa'uld ships and weapons, bah.

Let's see where this goes.

I'm guessing the shock of Mandy's consciousness winking out of existence is what essentially what killed her body, taking Ginn's consciousness with it.

Well, everyone else just found the bridge, so they don't know how to mess with the clock.

They don't control the clock. They haven't broken the code that controls the countdown clock yet. Apparently these are the equations that Rush has been bringing to Chloe to figure out. So they are still bound by the countdown clock which sets the ship back into FTL.

I really like the way this quartet of geeks works together. As I said last week, they provide the human element sometimes lacking in Rush's personality.

Not digging Greer's assholishness towards Rush, but the BBQ dinosaur line and the new look at jumping to FTL were good.

Agreed on both accounts, the dismantling the bomb scene was awesome.

I also agree that the gate looks better than usual, the spinning is more awesome'er somehow.


Again, about the clock. There seems to be some confusion, they have never gained control of the countdown clock yet. Once they drop the ship out of FTL the countdown clock engages, they haven't figured out how to stop it or pause it yet or reset it. Rush has been working on it, but has not succeeded. So they can steer the ship, drop it out of FTL, but are still bound by the clock, once it hits 0 the ship auto jumps into FTL.
