nominate actors to play Klingons in XII!

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
On the assumption that the turtle-heads will be returning in force for the next flick, blathering incessantly about their frakkin' honor and slurping gagh like there's no tomorrow, who's on your shortlist to spend inordinate amounts of time in the makeup chair?

Clancy Brown
Rosario Dawson (who actually wants to be a Klingon)
JG Hertzler, playing Martok's grandpappy
Betty White
Naveen Andrews (unless he's also Khan, oh heck, he can be both)

Before I get started, Temis, I'm not the sort to say this sort of thing to people I've just recently 'met' on the internet, but I do so enjoy the way you tend to word things.

Let's see...

JG Hertzler for sure.

And I'm going to second Betty White, because... what!?

James Callis, because I want a comedic and unsure Klingon thrown into the mix.

Ben Browder, because he enjoys getting his ass kicked all the time. I think it's a life-long ambition of his to let Kirk do that to him.

Leonardo DiCaprio, because hot damn, imagining him with ridges is making me spit my tea in laughter.

Kate Mulgrew, so I can hear her complain that there's no blood wine. "There's blood wine in that nebula," she will say, and then conquer anyone near it.

Katee Sackhoff, because she would kick anyone but Spock's ass, leading to a dramatic Quinto-saves-the-day moment.

Ben Browder as a Klingon, and Michael Shanks as a Federation commanderm or even captain of another Federation starship.

I love the idea of Leo as a Klingon! Ben Browder would be hysterical - he'd have a ton of fun and be the zaniest turtlehead since ole bug-eyes Gowron. I'd like to see Katee Sackhoff as a Klingon just to see her get in a fight with Zach Quinto. :guffaw:

This is shaping into a very fun movie. With Betty White as the wise old Klingon matriarch, perhaps Sackhoff's mother.

Be'Tee: "Now, Ka'Tee, don't go doing anything too foolish out there."
Ka'Tee: "I live for combat. I am only truly alive on the field of battle! I will be the one known through the ages as she who defeated Spock and brought hellfire to the Alpha Quadrant!"
Be'Tee: "Well, you do have a special destiny and all that..."

Christopher Lloyd...wait...already happened...

Adam Baldwin
Ed Quinn
Claudia Black
Lani Tupu
JG Hertzler

And yes, Ben Browder would be awesome.
