Our first glimpse of Sinestro I think and he looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing Mark Strong's performance. He's one of my favorite actors right now, I thought he over acted a bit in Sherlock Holmes but I really look forward to seeing how he is as Sinestro. Blake Lively is kind of growing on me as Carol. I couldn't see her as Carol but she looks really good. Ryan looks too much like Ryan to me still. I'll have to see how he is in the actual film to get a better opinion of him.

Is it just me or does Sinestro look....drawn?

Probably because he is. It's probably conceptual artwork. Mark Strong did just say during press at Comic-Con that he just began his work on the film, so it's possible they haven't fully rendered or completed his on-screen look yet.

Also, notice how Hector Hammond's poster has a yellow tinge, and all the others have a green tinge? I thought that was a cool touch.

Nice string of teaser posters for sure.

You know if it hadn't been for Sherlock Holmes I wouldn't know Mark Strong. Curious to see what he does with Sinestro.

I first discovered him a couple of years ago in the underrated "RockN'Rolla" Gerald Butler was pegged as the star but really Mark Strong stole the show and I've been a fan of his ever since.

Mark Strong has made a solid reputation for himself as a credible villain actor. His turns in RockN'Rolla, Kick-Ass and Sherlock Holmes have really solidified him as someone who consistently delivers strong villainous performances. I can't wait to see him as Sinestro in Green Lantern.

I think I know an easy fix for the suit. Reduce the number of "muscles" by about half. Change nothing else.

The problem with the "skin" is that the number, orientation, and location of muscle creases is at complete odds with Renoylds' actual physique. He doesn't look like a green muscled man, because muscles aren't arranged that way. So what are we looking at?

A giant fucking mess.

Neat idea, inexcusably incompetent execution.

Photoshoppers, I'd ask you to try reducing the number of muscles by half (or making them twice as wide, thus taking the space of two prior muscle groups) and see how much cleaner that looks.

Seriously are all you guys who are having a problem with the suit forgetting that when we actually do see the damned suit on screen it's going to be in 3D? They photoshopped it so we could get a first look at it. That wasn't the final look for the suit.

I always think it funny to look back at the gritty UK Northern drama from the mid-1990s, Our Friends in The North. Of the three male leads, Daniel Craig has gone on to be James Bond, Christopher Eccleston went on to become Dr Who and Strong has become the go-to villain-du-jour. Don't think anyone would have anticipated that.

Wonder why the lead actress, Gina Bellman, hasn't had the same genre impact as the lads.

Well, seeing him move and speak is much more convincing than that magazine cover; he may be a good GL after all.

^^^
Are you serious?
You don't get he was hamming it up for kid?
Seriously, you think he speaks it like that in the movie?
Seriously?
