If Ghana wins against Australia tomorrow, not even a victory against Ghana might be enough for Germany to reach the knock-out stage. That would be rather tragic for a team that played reasonably well.
Well, they did have one or two 100% chances, too, so I guess, it kind of evened out, luck-wise. Weird referee, though. Nine yellow cards in a game that was rather fair seem a bit much.

We had about four tough breaks right there in a row, but what can you do. I'm hoping for a comeback, but it'll be rough.
Why can't I be wrong, just this once. Well, it was good while it lasted. I will eat an entire crow dinner if this ends up anything other than US defeat.
The Slovenians seem to have known they could do this since long before this game. They brought their A game. Whereas the US don't seem like they were properly prepped to play this team. Like they didn't know where they were. Same as Germany, go figure. Does anyone get what I mean?

Agreed. I'm going to stay optimistic, but getting back into this game is going to be very, very difficult. Slovenia is playing extremely well.
