TBBS Posters That Remind You Of Fictional Characters

This is a nice thread; no insulting!

Do any TBBS posters remind you of fictional character you've seen in a movie or perhaps read about? It happens to me on occasion. Some of them I strongly associate with their avatar character (like Deckerd). Others are totally random, like Miss Chicken who reminds me of Agatha Christie's "Miss Marple". I can just imagine her solving crimes in a totally modest manner!

So what about it, anyone else see similarities?

Oh yes. Cooleddie. He can wear that real image av the rest of his life, but all I'll see is the Burger King. :D
And for some reason, RJDiogenes is a large, round, purple grape.

Aside from that, I can picture Holdfast as Monk. Fastidiousness nitpickery and all. ;)

J..to me your that 1960's movies "Man of God" that was always involved with the people...sleeves rolled up and everything...

I suppose that is far better than the person who said my name reminded them of Miss Prissy who chased after Foghorn Leghorn.

Miss Chicken...to me I think of you as Mary-Ann on Gilligan's Island...

Mostly full of common sense...

Aw, thank you. I consider that a great compliment!
To be honest, every time I see your posts, I always read them in the voice of Frank Nelson, and I mean that as a compliment because I love Frank Nelson's Sales Clerk schtick. :D

That's odd.

I know. I have no idea why I think that.

Awesome Possum reminds me of Michelle from American Pie. The disconnect between his sweetly-smiling, innocent-looking avatar and the stuff he posts is just as startling as Michelle's transformation at the end of the movie.

Holdfast reminds me of a type more than a particular character: the well-dressed and sophisticated British movie villain. The type of villain who notices your suit and says: "Nice suit. John Phillips, London. I have two myself," before he shoots you in the head.

I have always thought of Holdfast as Dorian Grey but without the opium or the murder. :rommie:

And T'Bonz will ALWAYS be the Romulan Commander from the TOS episode "The Enterprise Incident". I just don't think she would be so easily fooled by Spock though.

But I am going to have to think about this a little while before I come up with anything else. Normally my brain doesn't work that way. I tend to make up characters and faces all of my own for folks rather than rely on others. It is more fun for me that way. :bolian:

The only useful piece of information I've gleaned from this thread is that people think about Holdfast a lot ...

Kestra, for no apparent reason whatsoever, I associate you with Kira from DS9. I don't know why or how I associated her face with you, but there it is.

I'm with AstroSmurf regarding T'Bonz. She is the Romulan commander.

Unicron I associated with a lego version of Optimus Prime. Yeah... I don't know...

exodus I associate with Ben Sisko.

My brain works in weird ways.

I strongly associate people with their avatars, so in my mind I always picture them as animated versions of those, variously typing on their peculiar keyboards.

Especially funny with people like Camelopard who have satanic inspired avatars. Who knew evil could be so courteous and knowledgeable?

In the words of Lieutenant Uhura: "Sorry, neither."

But I often associate people with their avatars as well. Whenever I read a cooleddie74 post these days, I hear Peter Griffin's voice in my head.
