it amazes me the kind of ignorant shit you hear from areas that aren't very multicultural

That one's been around for a long time. They used to say it about the Chinese Restaurant in Dorchester when I was a kid back in the 60s.

Thankfully, when I was growing up, half the school was controlled by chinese gangs. Not that ignorant ppl dont exist here too, its just that ppl learned to keep their racist comments to areas controlled by their own ethnic group.

I swear if you walked down the chinese hallways yapping about how all chinese ppl eat cats and dogs and other fucked up shit, you'd probably get stabbed. People have gotten stabbed over smaller and much dumber shit than that.

Why do you think Discovery Channel hosts stupid shows like "Weird or What?" or "A Haunting" and SyFy has marathons of Ghost Hunters?

According to a book I was reading in B&N the other day, more college-educated people believe in ghosts now than did in 1930...

Just about any mass emailing from anyone in or supporting the Tea Party. The latest one was that the ACLU and Obama Administration had filed suit to stop the military from praying and to remove all headstones having religious symbols etched in.

Both are completely false, I called the sender on it supplying numerous references disputing the assertion and cc'ed everyone on the mail's history. The response was essentially an "oh, yeah - well they would if they could" and removing my name from receiving future mailings (thank goodness).

The ignorant don't want facts, they live in their own little world of stupidity.
