^

That's a great pic of Balter, I imagine that Callis will have fun with this character!

Last week left me wanting more, so I hope tonight doesn't disappoint.

A Pixies concert!

I think Callis is channelling Brad Pitt's performance in 'Twelve Monkeys'.

Ha. He has the same hair cut as Baltar in that first picture.

So far, Callis is the best part of this ep. He's too frakkin' funny.

Re: FlashForward: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" 4/29/10 - Grading/Discus

I'm beginning to think that this ep should've been called 'Flash-Backward'.

OH SHIT. So she is a good guy after all.

Re: FlashForward: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" 4/29/10 - Grading/Discus

Huh. Didn't see that coming.

Re: FlashForward: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" 4/29/10 - Grading/Discus

I had been suspecting that she was a double agent.

I missed the whole episode, I was entertaining a friend tonight and only saw a few minutes. What happened this episode? I know Olivia found out that Callis' character had been to an autism clinic before.

So they didn't kill Benford when THEY HAD A FREAKING SNIPER ON HIM LAST WEEK but now they want him to die in the most difficult and convoluted way possible?

Great. :p

Re: FlashForward: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" 4/29/10 - Grading/Discus

Easy, it's possible that the girl-sniper had a personal reason for not killing Mark and just didn't tell them that she could have killed him there.

I didn't see the episode tonight, so if there was anything directly opposing that I admit I'm guessing.

Things are just way to de-tached in the show.

I liked this episode well-enough. But then, it had a lot of Janis, my favourite character, and continues to push the storyline forward, largely ignoring the irrelevant sidestories, which is my top requirement at this point. The Afghanistan bits come off as silly more than anything else, particularly a tall white dude trying to pass himself off as a local with inept cultural transvestism, followed by a pointless shootout. We had figured Janis as a double-agent, but the episode did manage to throw me off by presenting her 'spying' as over two years old, whereas I had figured it was something she and the director had just come up with, only to then present her double-agent status as equally old, and involving Vogel (which kinda makes me want to go back and watch the mole episode).

I wonder if we're seeing parts of the finale coming together. Benford's speculation that the men were not after him specifically, but might have been after the ring... the older agent leaving out the back door... the oddly deserted and easily-breached FBI office (access granted by their 'mole')... Vogel saying that Benford was dead though he clearly wasn't (yet), when apparently this is one of the conspirators' goals... It seems like the surface pieces of a trap. Inviting the enemy in using Benford and the ring as bait. Then again, I've seen patterns in this show before that never amounted to anything.
