Anyone else sick of the V Infomercials during LOST?

ABC has been pimping that stupid show DURING LOST all season.

Last night was the worst with that stupid countdown clock that blocked Sun's writing on her notepad.

Is next week going to be a splitscreen telecast with half the screen having that Firefly chick pimp V talking over the LOST ep airing on the left side of the screen?

PS - I read Lindelof was ticked about the V promos invading LOST.

Yeah, that was pretty distracting/annoying. If I thought it might actually serve a purpose I'd boycott V as a protest against that type of invasive advertising.

Morena Baccarin. Possibly the worst actress I have seen. Her time on SG-1 as the main antagonist was painful to watch for those last seasons and then having to sit through her the first SG-1 movie was even worse.

She has no skill whatsoever as an actress, but somehow will etch out a career in the sci-fi world.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the smoke monster appeared as her on the island next week and tells the Losties they need to save the world so they can get back to the mainland and watch V.

It was infuriating and a number of critics have been complaining about it as well. This is the final season of fucking LOST. You don't pull that shit.

The large V in the corner with the countdown was to put it mildly.....

S T U P I D !

We knew it was on next, did ABC expect LOST fans to stick around to watch it or something ?

I know I turned the TeeVee off shortly after LOST was over.

I wonder what prompted me to do that, oh I donno....

I was mad that I couldn't read Sun's writing because of that stupid V promo. That happens a lot with that type of promo. I really hate the promo where a character walks into the corner of the screen. I wasn't planning to watch V anyway and it's mainly because of all the promos and previews they keep showing. It just doesn't look like anything I'd like, but if I had been shown just a little teaser, I might have checked it out; but they've shown me so much that I know I wouldn't like it.

If they made it somewhat translucent it might have been ok, but a big red V was totally ridiculous.

The commercials weren't much better. Elizabeth Mitchell didn't get that much screen time during an hour of LOST, when she was on the damn show

I don't have a link to the video on the web, but Stephen Colbert did a bit on his show about the V countdown clock that ran during LOST and it is pretty funny.

I gotta wonder...is the mockery on Letterman and Colbert good or bad for V? Plenty of people who hadn't heard of it have heard of it now.

Dagnabit, I missed posting this on April 1, well better late than never...ABC Announces “Lost Series Finale Countdown Clock”

During the two hour finale that begins at 9pm on Sunday May 23, the “Series Finale Countdown Clock” will change to “The End of Lost Countdown Clock” counting down the final 7,200 seconds left in the series.

Once every 15 minutes during the finale, Jimmy Kimmel will show up in a large-ish picture-in-picture window in the lower right of your screen and announce how much time is left for Lost. During the final three minutes Kimmel will count down the last 180 seconds out loud.”

“We’re sure Lost fans will complain no matter what we do and given all the fan questions that will go unanswered, we thought it would be fun to distract them with a few minutes of Jimmy Kimmel,” said series co-creator and executive producer Damon Lindelof.

The V crap on Lost is seriously idiotic. I fast forward it when watching it on my DVR for repeat viewings. It doesn't help when watching real time though. ugh.

I don't trust ABC either.
