Whats your favorite class starship?

Everybody has there own favorite, whats yours?


For me hands down, it would be a constitution class vessel, TOS version, not the nuTek version, or the refit from the TOS Movies, i always loved the look of that ship. My runner up would be the Miranda class refit, AKA the USS RELIANT.

I think it would be the refit from the movies. I was just the right age, and it made just the right impression, and now every time I see it part of me goes "Cool!".

Sovereign, hands-down. It's basically a sleeker, sexier Excelsior (which I'm also a big fan of). Such long, graceful lines with plenty of curves...definitely a real beauty.

I'm not a fan of the TOS Constitution, but kudos to NCC-1701 for being the only one to provide pics (at least, until now).

As for my favorite... well, I can't pick just one. It's too hard. So I will cheat, and pick several, and offer cool shots of them as compensation for doing so. (Note: NONE of these images were created by me. I wish I had this kind of 3D rendering skill. )

The "Diligent class", which I found online; it's a completely original fan design, as far as I'm aware:


This one was created as an add-on for a computer game (I think it was Starfleet Command III, though I've never played any of 'em, so I'm not 100% sure). I love the design, but I wish someone would do a really nice, high-quality render of it. This will have to do for now:

I like the Akira, Sovereign, and Defiant the best out of Starfleet ships (yeah, I can't pick just one either) and the D'deridex and Valdore out of other types. That Diligent class looks pretty cool, kind of like an Intrepid mixed with a Defiant.

I have two favorite ships in all of Trek:

The USS Enterprise from ST09 is my favorite muscle-car ship.

This is one gets my vote for most elegant ship:
