Depends on where she's at in the pregnancy and how the baby's carrying. And the status/health of the pregnancy. Hell some docs believe in "inducing orgasm" to speed along women that are past their due dates.

No, it wouldn't.

The strong muscles of the uterus, and the amniotic sac are easily enough to protect the baby.

The cervix is also sealed by a mucus plug and this guards against infection.

There are a few conditions that leads to sex during pregnancy not being advisable. However these only affect a small portion of women.

Also I can think of several positions other than having the man on top that make having sex far more comfortable.
