Mine's on my old pc which is in it's death throes, along with a ton of other stuff (LOTS of trekbbs memories). I'm a little scared I might not ever get it running again.

You could pop the hard drive out and put it in an external drive to get at the files.

Here's mine, made by the lovely Naira in the days before I'd started messing round in Photoshop myself. She did a great job with my random ideas. Note the lens flare. I was so ahead of my time!

I think that from all the ones I had made back then, that was my favorite (So much Riker in one place, what's not to like?)

Not a bad idea. It's just some silly bit of a fun after all, why not?

As for ICQ: I might just get me another ICQ number, I had fun on there. Up till about a year or so ago, I still had a few people that I talked to on ICQ. Most have moved on to Facebook ~throws crosses, garlic and holy water at Facebook servers~.

TrekBBS cards were definitely before my time. I originally thought they were a feature of the board as opposed to a fan thing, but hey....

Some of those cards are pretty neat. I had a go at designing one of my own this evening - experimenting with transparencies this time for that tinted plastic/glass look, I suppose. It's a bit nondescript, but it says all you really need to know, really:

I attempted one using transparent textures and patterns, but it didn't appear as transparent when uploaded to Imageshack, Photobucket or Tinypic, sadly. A shame, really, as it's one of my favourites.

I think Kor is like the biggest urban-legend-like poster ever. I've been here 8 years and I've never seen him. However, there are still people mentioning him quite often.

I think Kor is like the biggest urban-legend-like poster ever. I've been here 8 years and I've never seen him. However, there are still people mentioning him quite often.

Kor pretty much disappeared a few years ago. Don't recall when exactly, I just remember doing a search for him one day and realizing his newest post was 6 months before.

I remember starting one at some point; there must be a half-finished PSD file somewhere in my folders...

We were so young and wide-eyed then...sigh.

And thanks poohka! I like that one but I also like the first and second. I am also partial to the third one but I did paint the nebula in it. (The picture is one of my custom wallpapers.) I think if I was forced to choose one right now I would go with number two.
