Has anyone heard any news if there's going to be a new Stargate Atlantis direct to dvd movie. I was hoping Connor would return in an Atlantis movie either as Micheal or some other new character.

^There's no news on an Atlantis movie, but they are planning a new SG1 movie. Atlantis didn't get the ratings, so they may not be willing to spring for a movie, at least not yet.

I'd rather like to see Connor in a non-sci fi show, so he can broaden his general appeal a bit--maybe a cop on Dexter or a sexy neighbor on Desperate Housewives---something like that. He actually deserves his OWN show, but I guess we shall have to just cross our fingers for that one.

Thanks for the Stargate movie news Auntiehill. I'd like to see Connor get a role in a tv series longer than 3 episodes like had in that series on the Family channel last year.

I heard the news today. They announced a huge snowstorm on the east of US. Jinx and other who live there. I hope everything is gonna be ok for you.

I live in what is known as a snowbelt. We get lake effect snow (cold air moves over Lake Ontario and picks up moisture and drops it as snow (usually lots and lots and lots of it) when it hits land.
The storm hitting the eastern U.S. right now is south of where I am, hitting the Virginia/Washington D.C./Eastern Pennsylvania/New Jersey areas. The really unfortunate part of that is that those areas don't get a lot of snow generally, so they don't have the equipment to deal with huge amounts of snow as we do up here.

I've watched the news about these awful storms good grief! Stay safe Jinx.

Nah, we're used to snow in New Jersey. It isn't that we don't have the equipment to deal with huge amounts of snow, we're just too cheap to budget for the manpower. :guffaw:

I haven't been out in it yet, unemployment finally comes in handy :techman:, but it's about the same amount we got just before Christmas. I did hear there were places where over 20,000 people didn't have power though. :(

Oh, I didn't know Jersey gets socked regularly.
Right now, we're the ones who have practically no snow on the ground (knock wood). :)
