Anyone find this scene funny?

I don't know why, but it made me lol quite hard.

What other scenes do people find particularly lol-worthy?

You know you know you know Star Trek too well when you can identify and episode by a single frame...

Me too.

I actually loved the beginning before they arrived on the ship, the scenes leading up to the transformation were great.

The scene where Data learns to dance is funny to me. Also the scene in the first season where Picard has the furry thing stuck on his back and the crew is laughing at him, the end of Deja Q... there are so many.

I LOVE your avatar :O

I love that avatar too. And I think one of the funniest scenes in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" was another from that "Genesis" episode. I love how Picard was scared to death of de-evolved Klingon Worf. As it's trying to break down the door, he cowers behind Data, who casually says, "it is large". :D Data is such a great straight guy in comedy scenes. Another favourite of mine is in "Deja Q" when he's mediating between Q and Geordi:

Geordi: "SHUT UP, Q!"
Q: "I will not be spoken to in this way!"
Geordi (walking away, frustrated):"Data..."
Data: "Q, I suggest you cooperate."

Just saw it the other night:

In a "Matter of Honor" when Riker is eating with the Klingons, the women checking him out:

Klingon: They are inquisitive. They would like to know how you would endure.

Riker: Endure what?

Klag: Them.

Riker: looks at the women: One or both?

Thought it was pretty funny.

IIRC, that was the first time we ever saw a bathroom on Star Trek. In fact, I think it's the only time we've ever seen a bathroom on Star Trek outside of the shower scenes on Enterprise. Although, I think there may have been a scene in "You Are Cordially Invited" in which Odo & Kira locked themselves in Jadzia's bathroom so they could hash out their leftover issues from the Dominion occupation arc.

Which episode was this from? "The Pegasus"?

I love Captain Picard's expression once the admiral breaks off communications. That slightly bemused embarassment is a side of him that we don't usually see.

I remember back when FOX15 used to air the show here in Phoenix back around the mid-1990s. It was around the same time that Charles Barkley did those "I am not a role model" commercials. They did an ad for The Next Generation that asked, "What's the difference between Charles Barkley & Captain Picard?" Then they cut to the clip of him saying to the admiral, "I'm a role model."

I quite like the scene from Relics where Data is trying to identify the alcohol.

Data: It is... *sniffs* It is... *sniffs again then looks at it questioningly* It is green.

(You know)x3. Man you're an idiot. Oh wait, that's me.

What's even funnier about that line is that Scotty himself said that to someone in the TOS episode By Any Other Name.

One seen I find perhaps unintentionally funny is in "Contagion", where Geordi is having a rough ride in the turbolift. Gives me a chuckle everytime.
