Accomplishments for the year 2009

think

Because I think I have to?
Admiral
Ok there are two ways to do this: 1 either as a group or 2. individually, and I am thinking the individuality is the best.,,

we each enter things as they occur to us and number them? or not. and or comment if you like., or not,

1. I dumped the girl that wanted to do every last person I know except me.

2. gained about 10 pounds of weight.

3. I went to jail and then court and then got out to just go to Electrocution therapy sessions but chickened out at the last minute.

4. and I have continued to fight for peace and love in dancing forms of light and sound.

5..,beware the ides of December ? I'd warn you now.

we can make this serious or not?

In 2009, I managed to make myself a year older.
I have no idea how to change the speed or direction of whatever time altering device I seem to be using, but I will continue working on it.

J.

I quit a job that I really enjoyed to start a job that kinda sucks. Not exactly what I would call progress.

I accomplished a lot.

1) Branched out my social life BIG TIME.
2) Lost weight, joined a gym and have begun toning.
3) Finally started submitting short stories to various magazines.
4) Gained a lot of self-confidance despite a number of shitty things happening and a precarious economic situation at home.

All in all, considering how this could have easily been a terrible year, it turned out much better than could be expected. :techman:

Finished my Masters.

cool waz the piece of paper as profound as your master thesis or just some kind of tree gook that made it to the printing presses again?

// I am sorta discussed with the "higher" Educated people for there lack of common sense and well not to stand on some impossible soap box - so that you know - if you did not like trek and and come to Trekbbs I would either flame or harass you just on the principle of higher educated idiocy by you spenting too much money to have people tell you what to think, do, and write; ooh wait that is not nice think about how hard it was to do that and work?

I am sorry this was not i say NOT directed at you as much as that girl friend of mine who thought stuff like that was more important then me .. GO figure I just analyzed my self again?

well so much for misplaced anger as it was. LOL

**note to self .... I am not the center of the universe as I had assumed.,,

that is great !!

I think the first half of 2009 was more rewarding, but this second half will end up being more important (since I had law school prep stuff). I think I tend to judge my life too much by grades, and this semester was rough. But it's the first time I've successfully managed to balance work, school, and a social life, so I suppose it was rewarding.

Plus, I feel like I've gone full circle with the college experience, going from the rookie freshman to the wise old senior and I kinda like that.

1. I quit a 30 year long smoking habit.
2. I didn't turn into a Righteous Ex-Smoker who scowls at the be-nicotined.

:D

I put up over two thousand posts on the Star Trek BBS. Other than that I can't think of a damn thing. Oh and I started pharmacy tech school, but since I haven't finished yet that isn't much of an accomplishment.

Finished school (at least for a few years).
Got a job.
Moved to a new area.
Painted a House.

I moved several states away to live with my girlfriend. I think this will end up one of the best and most important decisions I end up making in my life.

besides that, not much. Still have more school, and don't quite have a job outside of the weekend warrior thing.
