Iron Man 2 first Poster released

How many people are gonna see this poster and think the movie is gonna be Iron Man vs Evil Iron man? Now that they are expanding the armoured cast possibly with whiplash as well do we think we might get an armour wars in the next movie?

I've actually heard and read people who thought Ironman would go down an evil path. Which is sort of right since Tony's alcoholism will be more prominent in part 2.

Armor Wars was incredibly awesome, I hope they base the third movie on that...while throwing in a little bit of Jack Daniels.

I read that Rhodey takes the silver armor to Justin Hammer, who then outfits it with more weaponry, and that's how he becomes War Machine. So that implies some conflict between Iron Man and War Machine. As I recall, Stark and Rhodey did have a brief falling out in the comics. As we've seen, Jon Favreau is adept at adapting multiple storylines into one coherent story. After all, Stark's transformation from Cold War munitions maker to "peacenik" took place over more than 10 years in the comics, and that change was in the first flick. -- RR

I've read that as well. I think it was an interview piece. Rhodey takes the armor(the interview doesn't say but I'm thinking without Starks permission) to Hammer. Upon reading that I predicted an act 2 sequence of Rhodes vs Stark fighting in their suits. Then following standard fare they get over it to team up against Whiplash et al for the finale.

I hope not. I *HATE* cliche crap like that. The movie should end with tension between the two of them *AFTER* they've had to (begrudgingly) battle a common foe.

Ehh... Not feeling that poster at all. I didn't care for the Iron Man character poster either.

The only poster that I like so far is the War Machine/Iron Man one...

it is a bit bland, nothing specail about it.

not keen on the fact it gives a movie spoiler either

that the media finds out that Tony is Iron Man

I didnt know that till today, and might not have known it going in.

Not a spoiler. Tony announced it at the very end of Iron Man during a news conference.

 I assume you haven't seen the first movie ?

As for Whiplash... I wasn't feeling it when I saw the first pictures and seeing the new poster I still don't feel it. He looks like Iron Man could squish him in 2 seconds.
But I have faith, based on the first movie that it will be good in the end.
