I'm going to give this one an "Excellent", the show the last couple weeks has felt more like the show I fell in love with.

I'm glad to see Chase returning to the team as he's a character I really liked, Cameron is a naive twit so I'm glad to see her go, also glad to see the other two team-members (are they really even fellowships anymore?) being Taub and Thirteen.

I'm still not sold on Cuddy being with Lucas it just doesn't make sense, partly because Cuddy strikes me as too old and too mature for Lucas, though I like Lucas' character.

The POTW stuff was pretty good and I knew the threadworms weren't the diagnosis -it came too early for that to be the case- and I think Cameron is wrong on House's motivations re: getting the team back against the patient's life.

I thought it was an excellent episode, as well. I'm happy to see Chase staying, but Thirteen? God, I hope they do something interesting with her character. I'd rather see Foreman go and Cameron stay. I also am glad Lucas is back, love his character, but I'm still completely bored with anything involving Cuddy. I'm also glad Taub is back. I've always really liked him. House, Chase, Cameron and Taub I think would be the best team.

Is this the first episode that listed Hugh Laurie as an Executive Producer? I've never noticed that before. Anyone know how that happened? Justifying his salary?

I'm just endlessly bored with Cameron's character. How many times can they have her sit-up on her high-horse without her falling off? I'm sick of her preaching her goody-two-shoes nonsense all over the place.

Thirteen's character hasn't given us a whole lot to be interested in her -the Huntington's wasn't played well- but I think there's better potential there than the umpteenth episode where Cameron treats a patient like shit because she doesn't like some aspect of his life. Hell, in a way she's worse than House. House treats all of patients like crap, Cameron treats the ones she judges "morally icky" like crap.

Go back to your gingerbread house and mushroom-cloud circus, Cameron.

I think she's hotter than Thirteen, though.

She may have been with dark hair. ;)

...

Nah, even then I'd still pick Thirteen over Cameron. There's just something... exotic about Olivia Wilde.

But this is niether here nor there. ;)

See...and I know I'm going against the grain here...but Olivia Wilde is way too supermodel/Maxim cover girl for me. I find that, at least in the women in entertainment that I find attractive, to be quite plain and ordinary. I prefer the more "real" beauty of Jennifer Morrison.

Speaking of grotesque Maxim supermodel thin cover girls, nice cameo by Jolene Blalock! :guffaw: Careers come a long way.

I thought Cameron was sort of right in what she said. House was out of line in this one; he slipped back into his old ways and he knew it, too. You could see it in his face.

It's funny. I've never liked Cameron but in her last (presumably) episode I really liked her.

Yeah, I was surprised to see her in such a small role. She was credited early on in the guest star list as well so I expected a bigger part.

Well, I wish they'd dropped Chase and kept Cameron. Chase has always been my least favorite. And I'd rather have had two women on the team, particularly since they're both gorgeous.

I don't see the distinction. They're both stunning. Sure, Wilde could stand to put on 10 or 20 pounds, but those eyes....

So where was Jolene Blalock?

She was the patient's wife. And I thought that gentler character was a better fit for her talents than the tough, stoic characters she's played in Enterprise and Stargate. It's the first time I've found her really appealing.

I don't like Chase either. I would have preferred it if Cameron stayed.

I didn't see who was guest starring, so I was surprised to see Jolene Blalock. Didn't even recognize her at first. She was looking pretty good. Maybe it was the hair.

What bugs me about this one is that House was back in his old, sadistic, amoral, manipulative form. I thought he was supposed to have reformed somewhat, or at least be trying to change. But the way he was in this episode, it was as if the entire season to date hadn't happened at all. He was blithely screwing up other people's personal lives to suit his own agenda and he even risked killing a patient in order to get his "old" (i.e. new) team back. It seems like a complete personality reset, and that bothers me a lot.

The deal with Cuddy/Lucas probably caused him to relapse a bit.

I was a bit dissapointed, I think the episodes lacked some good cinical comments between House and the porn star (maybe I had high expectations) and Jolene Blalock was simply not there. Piss poor performance on her part, I think the octomom would have made better. Besides that, the show was good. I hope now that Cameron is gone (not that I'm happy about that specifically), we can get back to how the shows were previously, being about house and the patient, more than about the soap opera like character relations.
