I used Velcro pads to attach the T-1000 bullet hits to my shirt. The pads on the fabric of the shirt were reinforced with some stitches (yay sewing awl!).

From a certain angle, I guess, but I dunno. I like the Zorro outfit, though.

Due to a complete lack of time to buy/make a new costume I had to revert to an old standby this year. It never fails to please.

I'm going to admit, I seriously considered carving a pumpkin in his likeness (a Jacko-lantern).

    I finally have pictures!

Without the utility belt... I know my boots are not like the movie but I love them. I have been wearing them everywhere with my jeans.

With the utility belt... which accentuates my fat. I think it is time for another diet. :cardie:

The chest delta... with better lighting.

My props which are all Playmates toys. I have modified all of them so they look more realistic and dirty.

So what do you kids think? Other than my spreading waistline, I am very pleased with how it all turned out. I do have some issues with the tunic though. To accommodate the very fragile knit fabric that I salvaged from the Rubies costume I had to make a few adjustments that I am not all that happy with. (I had to widen the seams to keep it from raveling.) Some day I really want to redo the tunic in spandex, like the movie version. I just need to get enough money together to have the fabric screen-printed with the delta pattern.

^ Very nice work! :) JJ-Trek is not my favorite by far, but you've done a great job replicating the look.

Smurf, excellent costume. It did look very authentic.

Anyone else think he looks kind of like a Starfleet version of Michael Shanks? :D

Your bulging crotch frightens me more than the mask. Is that where you carry your Halloween candy?

AstroSmurf, excellent work! You've really put a lot of time and effort into your costume. I got the same blue uniform this year; just yesterday I stopped by Toys 'R Us and bought a Tricorder. :)

I didn't do dress-up at work this year, though. People kept asking, "Where's your costume?" I just said it would feel weird to be the only guy in the department wearing a Halloween outfit on a workday when it wasn't actually a Halloween. :wtf:
