Your favourite dinosaur

I know in the past people here have been asked to name their favorite mammal, their favourite bird, their favourite flower but I don't think we have ever done 'favourite dinosaur'.

So tell us all - what is your favourite dinosaur?

I suck at selecting single favorites. I have so many, and all have their worth. Probably the Tyrannosaurus Rex, if I had to pick just one.

Also high on the list would be Styracosaurus, Allosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Carnotaurus, Camarasaurus, Tarbosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Baryonyx, Megalosaurus, Labeosaurus, Parasauralophous, and Yangchaunosaurus.

What about you, Miss Chicken?

I have to answer the good ol' Parasauralophus. Don't mark me down for spelling.

I am trying to remember the name of that dinosaur that they discovered in Argentina that was like a Tyranosaurus Rex but bigger.

I do like pterosaurs but they aren't dinosaurs.

Edited to add - the dinosaur I was thinking of is Giganotosaurus. I will but it down as my favourite - this is mainly due to its 3rd season appearance on Primeval where it performs a great service to Mankind (I won't say what because it would be a spoiler).

Ah, yes. The great Godzillasaurus.

triceratops, stegasaurous, t-rex, apatosaur, pteranodon.

(let's see who works out why)

Though I don't know if the dino's match quite exactly, is it because they're in the Prehysteria films? :p

EDIT: My choices are T. Rex (was not happy with what happened for it's appearance in Jurrasic Park 3 :shifty:), Triceroptops, Pachycepholosaurus (don't ding me for spelling there), Ankylosaurus (or that one).

I initially didn't like raptors so much, but their sinister depiction in JP3 actually made me warm up to them :p

I love Dinosaurs, so it's kind of hard to pick a favorite; if I had to, I would say Brontosaurus (don't say it-- bully for Brontosaurus!). I also like Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus. Basically, the more exotic the better (which really applies to all extinct animals-- I really love Trilobites ).

Kid faves would be Triceratops and Ankylosaurus, but as I've gotten older I've developed a real appreciation for Allosaurus as a magnificent predatory animal.
