She's gorgeous. I don't know if she can act or not because the characters she plays are all incredibly lame.

Pretty much my opinion. I've never seen her in anything except Smallville where the writing definitely didn't do her any favors.

I remember a similar uproar when Nicole Richie appeared on the show and Chuck moved on just fine without the heads of fans exploding (much).

For those of you who say it was the writing on Smallville that was the reason why Kruek's character Lana wound up so... dismissed on her acting chops, I present to you every movie she has done.

And each and every one of those movies is pure crap. This girl is getting by on the fact that it seems that casting directors think she is pretty. It is evident that even Kreuk herself has bought into thinking herself to be pretty. She has no acting chops, I personally do not find her to be all that attractive, and the longer she is around something the worse it gets. This girl should invest the money she made from being the female lead of a tv series, because she will stop getting work unless she manages to improve her acting skills or gets a boobjob and goes into porn.

I hope something happens that makes her have to cancel her Chuck appearances. We only just managed to save Chuck last season. I don't know if he can survive the bane that is Kirsten Kreuk.
