Real alien found in mexico or hoax?

Tests revealed a creature that is unknown to scientists - its skeleton has characteristics of a lizard, its teeth do not have any roots like humans and it can stay underwater for a long time.

 OMG!

ITS REEE----AAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If its brain is large at the back, if its in any way similar to humans, then it would have excellent memory I think, as opposed to reasoning skills. Also if the brain is that small would it be less intelligent, I know proportion to body mass etc but would the size in this case mitigate against human level intelligence or would it be possible for it to have the same level of intricacy bundled into a smaller area?

Oh please...this has all the hallmarks of Weekly World News level reporting. "Serious scientists"? As opposed to the not-serious ones? It's always in a foreign country, the experts cited can't be confirmed or aren't even named, and somehow the source of the story mysteriously vanishes (in this case, via fire).

You'd think in this cynical age people wouldn't be so quick to believe something based on some video or photographs. But them, as the Amazing Randi has demonstrated so often, people want to believe in nonsense like this.

Theoretically aliens should not have DNA, as that is a biological characteristic evolved on this planet. Aliens would most likely have some equivalent genetic system, but it would not be detectable by a DNA test.

This.

Its a hoax, 100% a hoax. Im pretty sure even an inbred farmer could figure out that his personal discovery of alien life would make him millions of dollars. Then for the sole witness to the event to suddenly dissapear just takes the mickey.

Also why are no scientists named in the investigation? Im pretty sure any scientist would sell their own grandmother to have their name linked to the first discovery of an alien life form.

I found another alien, but this ones covered in hair:

There is nothing to see here. It's not an alien.

But how can you not believe in it!? It has BOLD TEXT! And underlines! And italics! And the "Made in China" tag on the body was just a clever attempt by the aliens to convince us that the yard gnomes conspired with Obama to clone Prince William from blood on the Shroud of Turin to be the Antichrist!

Oh... and of course you know for a fact that DNA could not ever develop on another planet how???
