I'm very partial to Serenity, but even that awesome design has two nacelles, and I can't deny where THAT idea came from.

So, that would be " The One You Left Out Of Your Poll, You Idiot"TARDIS!
Sorry, I never thought of Tardis as a "space vehicle" as much as a , errr, a transporter that transported itself. But my knowledge of Dr. Who is obviously very limited.Ha, you said it, not me! Of course, the advantage of the TARDIS is that instead of having to duke it out with other vessels to prove its superiority, it could just go back in time and prevent them from being built in the first place.
Again, sorry, I did mean fictional ships.Dunno if this is supposed to be fictional or not, but I am a fan of Russia's Soyuz ships, they just seem to have been going for ever!

The grand and beautiful Enterprise-D of course.
What? This?:lacking the simple elegance of the original. The Enterprise-E looks garish in comparison.*

If the Sovereign-class had more sensible-looking impulse propulsion, I'd probably have chosen it.
