Casey's speech was awesome! There was already absolutely no way he was going to stay, so he spoke the truth. I think that Casey's assessments of Ronnie and Jessie were pretty accurate, and hilarious! No reason to pretend to like the people when you are about to walk out the door.
^I actually don't think that they will. I can't remember if you liked spoilers or not so...
I think that Russell will uphold the deal he made up there with Jeff, which was to keep Jeff and Jordan safe and to nominate Ronnie. Russell genuinely seems to want Ronnie out this week.
Also, the plan for the Jessie alliance wasn't to get Jeff and Jordan out this week anyway. They wanted to get out Lydia and Kevin first, then go after Jeff and Jordan. Things could have changed obviously but it seems like they truly want Lydia or Kevin out now. They aren't really a strong part of the alliance anymore because of their back dealing with Jeff, Jordan, and Michele. And Lydia keeps throwing Kevin under the bus, telling Jessie that Kevin wants him out and other shit like that.
Also, Russell has become his own man in the past week or so, branching off from his athlete alliance and becoming closer to the other side of the house. I think he would still go with his alliance for now, but he could possibly be the type to shake things up.
So I actually think it will be Lydia and Ronnie nominated this week. You don't ever truly know what the hell these people are thinking though!
And here are some spoilers about the Haves/Have-nots:
Jordan got to choose a graduation prize when she dropped and it was the ability to choose 3 people to be Have-nots this week. She wanted to be fair so she put names into a hat. She left out the Brains because they had just been on slop. She pulled out Natalie, Kevin, and Jeff. They all said Jeff shouldn't have to because he really worked hard in the HOH competition. So they pulled another name and it was Jessie. And he whined like a little bitch, he is pissed. Lydia actually offered to do it instead, probably because she realized Jessie and Natalie would be sleeping the same room together. But ultimately it was Jessie. Natalie has a slop pass so she can still eat but is still in the Have-not room with cold showers.
I loved the crestfallen look on Jessie's face when Julie said that America would vote for who gets the power, because he knows that he will never win.
I also LOVED the comment Casey made when going out the door..."Natalie, go make Jessie a sandwich." It's funny because it's true. Lydia and Natalie are at Jessie's beck and call all day long. I don't think he's made one meal for himself!
Also funny how Natalie told Casey in her goodbye message that she was actually 24, like that was a good thing. No Natalie, it makes you look worse to him, because at least before he thought you had an excuse for being so immature.
Casey actually said in an interview today that he would have blasted Natalie in his speech as well, but thought it wasn't right to do to an 18 year old. I recommend you all watch the Early Show interview with Casey (I think it's on the CBS website, probably YouTube as well). Regardless of whether you like him or not, it was one of the best interviews Julie's done.
Last night Ronnie brought up that the power could be a coup d'etat (they used it in All-Stars season once) and there has been much speculation about who will get it. A lot of people seem to think it will be Ronnie because "he is so favored." I don't care either way about Ronnie but most of the people watching hate him. I think that it is extremely likely that Jeff will get it. On polls at the different fan sites he is winning with like 85% of the vote.
By the way, if any of you voted right after the live show on the East coast, you will have to go vote again. There were "technical difficulties" and all votes before 9:20 ET were not counted.
I stand corrected, unless it's a backdoor situation. Has the "Shotgun/Technotronics" debate really ended with Russell and Jeff being friends? Didn't Russell and Ronnie make a deal?
Russell says that his fight with Jeff the first week wasn't real, that it was a calculated move on his part to see who would come to Jeff's defense and therefore exposing who was on what side of the house. Jeff is just a good, forgiving guy in general and everyone seems to think the fight is no big deal now. After some of the other fights that have gone down since then, people hardly remember that one. Russell and Jeff actually made a little alliance after he won HOH to keep each other safe for a little while. Russell did make a deal with Ronnie when Ronnie was hiding in his HOH room, but Russell has caught Ronnie in a few lies since then and seems to have decided that enough is enough - Ronnie is a liar who can't be trusted and must go.
Nominations were last night and Ronnie and Lydia were nominated. We'll see how this week goes...
^ Another explanation for the unexpected allience...
The Coup D’etat is most certainly at play here. Russell (and most of the other houseguests) rightly assume the special power will go to either Jeff or Jordan. A power that can be used either this week or next. Russell doesn't want to risk pissing off the J/J couple for fear of having it bite him in the ass.
Jessie is really worried that J/J will get the special power and put him up on the block and/or evict him - since he is unaware of the exact power. I think he's right to be afraid. The only way to guarantee his safety this week is to...
...win the Power of Veto. Julie said only the HOH and POV winner would have guaranteed safety this week. Jessie will be able to compete for the POV today, along with Michele and Kevin. Including of course the two nominees - Lydia and Ronnie - and the HOH Russell.
I don't know who I'm rooting for to win POV really. Maybe Ronnie, only cause it would make things more interesting. Kevin would likely be the replacement nominee. And when Jordan or Jeff win the Coup D’etat they would be far more likely to use it to put up Jessie/Natalie. Cause if Ronnie is still on the block, I imagine they'd keep things the same just to get him out before making it to the Jury House.
Our POV winner is Michele. So barring any major disasters when it comes to Coup d'whatever, Ronnie is done.
Voting for Ronnie would be Jeff, Jordan and Kevin for sure. Michele too after Ronnie threw her under the bus for the whole Braden thing and with the disolvation of the cliques, she no longer needs him. Natalie will vote for Lydia. That leaves us with Jessie and Chima as wild cards.
Well, Ronnie deserves to be done, he played too much of a game way too early and while he, more or less, played it like many before him he didn't have the "charisma" to pull it off.
Should we continue to use the spoiler tags? I have been just to be safe, but it seems that the people who didn't want to read the spoilers aren't really posting in this thread anymore. If you're someone who doesn't want to see the spoilers, speak up and I'll continue to use the spoiler tags. Otherwise I say we have the title of the thread changed to include the word Spoilers and just talk as normal in the thread.

Now that I can talk freely, I think I will speak of the strange relationships that have been forming lately...
Michele won POV and is using this power to her advantage. She is coming out of her shell with certain people and seems to have decided who she truly wants to align with. She had a conversation with Jeff and later Jordan as well about trust and how they should work together in the future. Michele later had a long conversation with Russell about personal stuff as well as forming a little alliance. Michele intends to not use the veto and to vote Ronnie home. And the four of them, Michele, Russell, Jeff, and Jordan are sort of haphazardly coming together to watch each others' backs. Interesting group.
Ronnie has continued to spin his web of lies, especially to Michele and Russell. He even faked a breakdown last night to appeal to Russell. He didn't buy it.
Ronnie has been going around telling people that Russell said in their conversation last night that he regrets nominating Ronnie and that it was a mistake. This got back to Russell and he is super pissed about it, but there hasn't been a blow up yet. What Ronnie gains from telling this lie, I have no idea. Honestly I think Ronnie actually believes the lie. Russell clearly wants Ronnie out so I doubt anyone believes it.
Jessie and Natalie have sensed that Michele and Russell are getting close, so they concocted some lies, saying that Michele came to them pleading for the votes to keep Ronnie. They think Russell believed them but I think he's a lot smarter than that. He trusts Michele more than them now.
Also, Kevin accidentally ate a single chip on Thursday night even though he is on slop. He basically forgot because the slop had just started for the week. Natalie and Jessie whined like babies for days about it and how unfair it was. Kevin later accidentally ate a grape (I really do believe it was accidental). It wasn't caught on camera, but Natalie and Jessie, being the petty little 10 year olds they are, immediately went to the diary room to tattle on him. So he got an extra day on slop.
I haven't seen tonight's show yet because I'm on the west coast so keep that in mind...
We would get a spoiler thread, just as I learned to use spoiler code!
The show just ended here on the East coast/central area or whatever the heck Ontario is.
I hated every Ronnie moment in the show. His turning to a camera and telling America to vote for him and "the good that is he, Jessie, and Natalie." He is almost, if not, more full of himself than BB6's April when she said people who watch the show were "pieces of shit" for voting a reward to Janelle. And then his whole snake/mongoose thing at the end. Russell's speech was sorta bad to begin with, but Ronnie topped it with the whole "King Cobra" speech.
I had an amusing thought earlier. Jessie gets evicted and we get to watch Natalie wander aimlessly around the house with no one to hide behind. It will also be fun to watch Chima wander aimlessly especially after saying how glad she was to be free of the "dorks" in her clique.
If a Russell, Jeff, Jordan, and Michele alliance is truly coming together, I can easily root for them. Russell has always been on my good list, simply playing for the wrong team. Michele got screwed over by being with a bitch who didn't want to be lumped in as a brain in the first place and one of the stupidest players of the games for team mates earlier on.
Ok, it is official. I HATE Ronnie. I want him to go. NOW. I despise him, he is annoying me to no end.
Natalie is also an annoying little bitch. She wants to vote out Kevin and Lydia because they won prizes? They dropped out first and won prizes? Um, Nat? They could've just as easily have won nothing and you got to open a box and YOU could've easily have won a prize! Shut-up Natalie!
I still really like Lydia, she's got a nice shape, and I'm still surprised she doesn't have a tramp-stamp. But man, is she an odd duck.
Glad to see Russel and... Jeff? Teaming up. Right now (along with Michelle) I think they're the ones I like the most.
But Ronnie needs to go, NOW. His entertainment value is gone.
