Tattoos-do you have any?

I just got my 4th tattoo-an awesome detailed portrait of Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock-TOS. I also have the command insignia from TOS, a triquetra, & a holy cow tattoo. I can't post any pics yet, still a newbie & under 50 posts. As soon as I can, I'll upload them.

Does anyone else out there have any tattoos? & if so, any Star Trek tatts?

:klingon:

Not a big fan of tattoos. I just don't "get" them nor understand why people would want them (well, I guess I kinda understand).

I guess I just don't like the idea of needles going into me at a rapid pace. That and I know that I wouldn't be able to decide on a design that I would want for the rest of my life. Well, that and the fact that even if I did get a design I liked, when I grow old, the design would look like crap as my body ages.

NOPE! I'VE seen way too many ''senior citizens'' with them and tatoos don't seam to make there bodies age any better.

No tats on me, but I think some bodyart is beautiful. It needs a perfect canvas though, so I wont be getting one.

Yes, I have two and will within the next year be adding a third.

The one on my right shoulder is the cycle of life...got it right after I tested
positive for HIV. The one on my upper back is a set of tribal wings, wings
folded. Eventually, I'll have them outstretched...but before I do
that, I want to do something "spinal" --- symbolizing my new backbone
- a symbol of self-determination and strength. Consider too that I
am VERY careful about my body art...so it's always slow in coming, as
every piece has to have a specific, definite meaning, and has to come
at the right point in time. Each of the other two were done at a
particular time - that too is part of the meaning.

I've got absolutely nothing against tattoo's, but having one myself? Nope. I have not yet seen a tattoo that actually enhances the lines and shapes of the body.

None so far, but if I do get one, it will be a dolphin that is itself tattooed with a Chinese symbol and is holding a heart in its mouth and jumping over barbed wire that wraps around my ankle.

It symbolizes loss.

Man, what the frak have these mod powers done to you? Every thread you've posted in tonight, it's like you're some kind of super-Locutus, unhinged and uninhibited, free to finally be batshit insane. Does this come with the job?

I found Bonz's liquor cabinet. Don't tell anyone.

People who get tattoos, especially college kids, need to be careful if they are getting the Japanese symbols printed on their body. You can run into some shady deals with that. Something that you think means "honor" or "courage" could really mean "pig farts".

I have this tattooed on my back, right below my neck, between my shoulder blades.

A small deep red and black original design tattoo on my left shoulder blade. It has a lot of meaning for me, and I will never regret it. Plus I know it will age well because that area doesn't get wrinkly, even with age - chose it especially.
