I'll see your raise and raise you this...
I love how they were lockable - as if that would deter anyone from stealing your Oregon Trail if they really wanted to. Sort of like those hooks on screen doors that pass as a "lock".and my 5.25" disk box, dating from 1986. I use this to store loose CDs.
I still have my Ferguson Videostar VHS player ecorder. It outlasted the Akai video player we bought to replace it in the early 90s. 
Now it's dead.
I still have my BBC Micro somewhere, plus a BBC B+ I bought second-hand about 10 years ago.

What's wrong with Sega Genesis? I had many years of fun with mine (and my Nomad). I was just playing some Genesis games yesterday.

What's wrong with Sega Genesis? I had many years of fun with mine (and my Nomad). I was just playing some Genesis games yesterday.
Well, it started out okay, but become kind of pedestrian. Plus, by the time, Sega was too interested with with trying other things instead of sticking with what worked.
I strongly believe that, had they forgone the Sega CD, Saturn, and all the business and delayed the Dreamcast a few years,the PlayStation would have gone the way of the 3DO.

We had the one with the double floppy drive. I just chose that pic because the tape recorder seemed so quaint. (Our tape drive was actually much smaller.)
