MIRACLEMAN (UNKNOWN ACTOR maybe Thomas Haden Church, Daniel Craig, but both would need some serious cgi work to make them look younger & taller! MM is 7 FEET TALL!) A proper JUDGE DREDD movie ( Ron Pearlman or an unknown actor)Most overrated comic book movie? The spider-man & X-men franchises. Best comic book movie? ROBOCOP (hey you didn't say it had to be based on a comic book) Best super villain/antagonist casting?
The JOKER, Heath Ledger.

None of the lousy comic book movies have been faithful adaptations.

Loose adaptation but good movie?

Batman Returns

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?

That's a long list, but some of my top picks are:

The Flash - maybe Scott Porter
Green Lantern (summer 2011 if things stay on track) - maybe Jamie Bamber
Wonder Woman - maybe Mary Elizabeth Winstead or Cobie Smulders

Best comic book movie?

X-2

Worst comic book movie?

BATMAN & ROBIN. (Runner-up: HOWARD THE DUCK.)

Most overrated comic book movie?

SUPERMAN 2.

Most underrated comic book movie?

DAREDEVIL. (Granted, I'm biased.)

Best superhero/protagonist casting?

Christopher Reeve as Superman. (Runner-up: Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.)

Worst superhero/protagonist casting?

Shaquille O'Neal as Steel. (Runner-up: a dwarf in a duck suit as Howard. He should have been animated, a la ROGER RABBIT.)

Best super villain/antagonist casting?

Julie Newmar as Catwoman. (Runner-up: Ian McKellan as Magneto.)

Worst super villain/antagonist casting?

Some wrestler as Bane.

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?

TANK GIRL.

Loose adaptation but good movie?

X-2 again.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?

THE SPECTRE. No idea who should bring him to life (so to speak).

See answers above. (Silly, confusing quote business.)

Looking forward to JONAH HEX and GREEN LANTERN . . . .

Best comic book movie?
I would be hard pressed to choose between Road to Perdition, The Rocketeer, and V For Vendetta.
Worst comic book movie?
The Punisher, the Dolph Lungren version.
Most overrated comic book movie?
Spider-Man 2. I don't think this series is going to age well.
Most underrated comic book movie?
Daredevil.
Best superhero/protagonist casting?
Billy Campbell, The Rocketeer.
Worst superhero/protagonist casting?
Halle Berry, Catwoman. Or Shaq, Steel. I can't decide.
Best super villain/antagonist casting?
Paul Newman, Road to Perdition.
Worst super villain/antagonist casting?
Tommy Lee Jones, Batman Forever.
Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?
Watchmen. I actually liked the movie, but the word I used coming out of the theater was "soulless."
Loose adaptation but good movie?
From Hell. It has nothing to do with Alan Moore's graphic novel, but it manages to be a compelling Jack-the-Ripper movie in its own right.
What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?
I want a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle buddy movie. I want Will Arnett as Booster, and I want Jason Bateman as Ted Kord.

Best comic book movie?
The Dark Knight, or Sin City

Worst comic book movie?
Batman and Robin, or that 90s Fantastic Four movie maybe.

Most overrated comic book movie?
Spider-Man 2, 300 (by the public)

Most underrated comic book movie?
Judge Dredd. Not altogether great, but not the atrocity it's commonly made out to be.

Best superhero/protagonist casting?
Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach

Best super villain/antagonist casting?
Heath Ledger, Jack Nicholson

Worst super villain/antagonist casting?
Ahhhhnold as Mr Freeze, Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?
Dick Tracy, maybe?

Loose adaptation but good movie?
I'll second From Hell.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?
I'd love to see a film of We3 by Grant Morrisson and Frank Quietly, and the three stars would be computer-animated. Also, Runaways by Brian K Vaughan and Adrian Alphona (the first story arc with the Pride). I never have any idea about the second half of that question so I'll pass.

Best comic book movie?

Worst comic book movie?

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

Most overrated comic book movie?

Danny Devito as The Penguin

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?

300

Loose adaptation but good movie?

Transformers

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?

Captain America. I have no idea who'd I cast. Probably a somewhat unknown.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?
I want a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle buddy movie. I want Will Arnett as Booster, and I want Jason Bateman as Ted Kord.

BG: Taste the happy, Blue.
BB: Tastes kinda like sad.

Boy, Shaq is really taking a beating in this poll.

I didn't think anyone else had even seen that movie!

Best comic book movie?

I'll say Batman Begins; while The Dark Knight was in a lot of respects better, the character study of the emergent Batman sticks with me more. Also-rans: Spider-Man, Iron Man.

Worst comic book movie?

Hard for me to say, really; I've avoided actually seeing the ones that get bad reviews. I've seen Batman and Robin, so we'll say that.

Most overrated comic book movie?

Superman: The Movie; generally superb casting, but it falls apart about when Luthor shows up. The first two-thirds of the film are great, but the finale is badly handled. For that reason, I don't rank it as highly as many do.

Most underrated comic book movie?

Ang Lee's Hulk. If he had had Banner's father become the Abomination instead of the Absorbing Man, to supply a more straightforward climax, I think it would have been a lot better received. As it stands, I appreciate what Lee did, and I really enjoyed his direction.

Best superhero/protagonist casting?

I'll go with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.

Worst superhero/protagonist casting?

I'd be tempted to say Halle Berry as Catwoman, but she wasn't cast as any recognizable version of the character, so it couldn't be said she was an awful Selina Kyle.

Best super villain/antagonist casting?

Ian McKellen as Magneto; easy victory.

Worst super villain/antagonist casting?

As a recognizable supervillain, Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor (worse performances can be found in other movies, but Hackman's character plays a central role in derailing what was up until his appearance a great movie; though the writers deserve at least equal blame).

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?

300, which perfectly replicates the source material. However, the source material is relentlessly 1D.

Loose adaptation but good movie?

V For Vendetta.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?

Excluding adaptations already announced but not yet released, I'd love to see Marvel do something with the current Incredible Hercules comics series. Not sure who I'd cast.

Best comic book movie?
The Dark Knight

Worst comic book movie?
Superman IV

Most overrated comic book movie?
Superman: The Movie

Most underrated comic book movie?
Daredevil

Best superhero/protagonist casting?
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man

Worst superhero/protagonist casting?
Chris O'Donnel as Dick Grayson/Robin

Best super villain/antagonist casting?
Tie between Heath Ledger and The Joker and Ian McKellen as Magneto

Worst super villain/antagonist casting?
Julian McMahon as Victor Von Doom

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?
There really hasn't been one yet

Loose adaptation but good movie?
X-Men 2 is very loose adaptation of a few different X-Men stories, but is one of the best superhero movies.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?
Green Lantern
The Flash
Wonder Woman
Captain America

Best comic book movie?
BATMAN (1989), (for better or worse, it set the standard)

Worst comic book movie?
Superman IV

Most overrated comic book movie?
Superman: The Movie

Most underrated comic book movie?
Judge Dredd

Best superhero/protagonist casting?
Patrick Stewart as Professor X

Worst superhero/protagonist casting?
Halle Berry as Storm

Best super villain/antagonist casting?
Jack Nicholson as The Joker

Worst super villain/antagonist casting?
Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor (sad thing is, as a serious villain...Hackman is no hack...but they made him comical)

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?
THE SPIRIT (well, maybe it wasn't that faithful)

Loose adaptation but good movie?
BATMAN (1989), loose because Batman kills and the Joker offed his folks.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?
Rogue Trooper, paint Sam Worthington blue and go for it.

What say you for....

Fantastic Four 1&2

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet

New Warriors or a Nova solo project, and I want it to be full feature animated.

Best comic book movie?

The Crow. A hauntingly beautiful film about eternal love, divine justice, and the power of Rock N' Roll. It gets unfairly maligned because all those annoying goth kids worship it. But despite that it is still a wonderful, wonderful film.

Worst comic book movie?

It would be easy to say Batman and Robin. But Spawn was one of the most mediocre peices of shit ever made.

Most overrated comic book movie?

X2 aka Wolverine: The Movie Part 2.

Most underrated comic book movie?

Punisher: War Zone. Good, mindless, gory fun that reveres it's comic book origin.

Best superhero/protagonist casting?

Kelsey Grammar as Beast. One of the few highlights of X3.

Worst superhero/protagonist casting?

Ben Afleck as Daredevil. "What do you want?!" "JUSTICE!" I'm pretty sure that was the moment where the general public began to hate him. On the plus side he did murder Jose Quesada in cold blood in the film. Too bad it wasn't for real.

Best super villain/antagonist casting?

Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face. Such an understated, underrated performance.

Worst super villain/antagonist casting?

Julian MacMahon as Doctor Doom.

Faithful adaptation but lousy movie?

The Watchmen. Plodding and completely forgetable.

Loose adaptation but good movie?

Spider-Man 2.

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?

I'd rather they reboot X-Men, but since that's not an option...I'll go with either Mathew Macconaughey as Jesse Custer in Preacher or Ryan Reynolds as Wally West in The Flash.

Punisher: War Zone (then again, it's hard not to be more faithful than the last movie)

Loose adaptation but good movie?
V for Vendetta

What comic book hasn't been made into a movie yet and who do you want to star in it?
Captain America - Ryan McPartlin as Steve Rogers.
The Flash - Ryan Reynolds as Wally West (not gonna happen anymore, sadly).
Green Lantern - No ideas, but I like Out Of My Vulcan Mind's suggestion of Jamie Bamber.
Black Panther - Again, not sure. Maybe Michael Jai White?
Doctor Strange - Pierce Brosnan, though he's probably too old now.
