Dear Trek Art Forums:

Borgman has failed me for the last time. He is full of suck and fail, and his art is worse than a one-armed blind man playing with an etch-a-sketch. I need a model done, please show Borgman who is the Best Of The Best and be sure to mock him and his lack of skillz. Also his woman says he crys during sex.

Hi all!

Awhile back someone made these drawings for me for an RPG. This is our home-ship, the USS Gambler.

It started as a joke (Epic Fanboy Class) but over the years evolved into an actual useable playable ship. Think of it as the ship the Federation deploys when they need an overwhelming application of firepower (very rare) or a sector command ship during a full-scale war... sort of a mobile starbase.

The relevent stats are it's just over 15km long from bow to fantail, the rest is pure speculation.

What I am looking for is someone to convert this into 3D models for me. Uber-detail is nice but not important, I'm looking more to have a model I can pull up on screen and use as a sort of 3D MSD display prop.

I still think the Murder-Class from Sci Fi Meshes has you beat, as the ultimate uber-fanwank ship.
 
Gambler isn't too bad, it'd almost be at home as part of the old FASA of SFC designs.

The "murder class", ~gag~ Not even as a joke.
 
My virgin eyes....I thought they were raped by that first pic. But then that second one destroying the Republic ship....wow....just wow. Fanwank to the power of infinity.
 
I would assume that that optional mechanical armor system is ablative? Because:

Is knowin' what to throw away, and knowing what to keep.

You been reading the stats I worked up for the RPG? More or less. It's a one-shot armored fan that can be deployed in dire situations. One of the players came up with it, then a few months later Voyager did the same thing. Apparently either damaged minds think alike or the writing staff has a mole in my game group. ;)

Oh yeah, our dedication plaque reads "...and somewhere in the darkness/The Gambler he broke even..."
 
15km long!?! so this thing is what? like 9 miles long? Bigger than a super star destroyer? That's big enough to hold a small fleet of full size starships in the hanger bay!

...and yes they scream KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN! for some unexplained reason. (happy now Borgman?)
