Tryla Scott is screwed!

According to Memory Alpha she was the youngest Starfleet officer to attain the rank of captain, which made her something of a legend by the late 24th century. It goes on to say it seems likely that Scott was no older than 27 upon assuming command of the Renegade.

I remember in the TNG episode "Conspriacy" Picard was amazed by this. Now after Trek XI... Poor Tryla, she hasn't got a chance now.

Kirk has now done it in three years at the age of 23, I think.

The kids of the 24th century are gonna have to reach pretty high to match up.

LOL LOL no I haven't...actually I was online today at Amazon trying to buy TFF and TUC because I'm ashamed that I haven't seen them...and it says "this has been discontinued by the manufacturer"....and they are more expensive then they were last time I checked.....does someone know anything about this and why the hell my ST movies (lol that I've never seen lol) be discontinued??? I also posted this in the movie forum so no one yell at me....but ya know Sonic brought it up so I thought I'd ask........

I don't think you are correct. Kirk's probably between 27-29 by the end of the movie. He enters Starfleet Academy at 24-25 and graduates 3 years later.

Kirk is born the day Nero arrives, and it's 25 years later when Kirk ends Nero's life.
