Today I graduate law school

Well, this is the second-big day! My Mom, sister, and a nephew came to town for this. Lots of well-wishers. Having friends and family over afterwards. Hubby bought me a nice cake and a lei--but I better not wear that until afterwards. I think the hood would kill it.

Bar prep has already started. My profs have confidence in me. Hubby and Mom have confidence in me. I just need to keep at it. The best part is that, maybe because the meds are working, because I have confidence in me! First time in my entire life that I can feel good about what I've done without too much effort (a lifelong depression-thing).

So, thank you to everyone who's been supportive here!

So have they removed your soul yet or is that what the Bar Exam stuff is all about? :P

Seriously, congrats on graduating. :techman:

Hey, we believe in you. It's great we have a lawyer on the bbs....just in case :d

I have friends in Law School at UCLA and USC. I have a lot of respect for anyone who can finish those three years of hell.

Congrats!

Congratulations! And good luck for the future. Enjoy the celebrations now - sounds like you'll be back to studying all too quickly!

You already do... :bolian:

Congrats on graduation. Don't worry about the Bar [well worry about it but you know what I mean] I take it you aren't working while studying? Taking barbri?

Treat it like a 40hr a week job, follow the barbri study guides and do tons of practice questions.

Good luck.

Congrats!

One year actually.

First year is hell...the rest are easy. Relatively.

Well this year has been tough because of how the job market has impacted the law students and the over saturation of the profession. Plus I make school look easy because of my nonchalant attitude, so they have to brag how much they are working anyways. :p

How does that have anything to do with how hard L1-L3 are?

Because getting a summer job has been more competitive than usual (when it is already competitive) for them. I speak from anecdotal experience, so don't take it as applicable across the board.
