What else could the Prez do? Her character is back next season isn't she?

Yeah, but I'm guessing she'll have an ex-husband by then by the looks of it...

Hey Steven!

Hey! If there's one things I don't like about all these new Presidents is they're not appearing in Allstate commercials that you can spoof. ;) :p

I still do'nt understand what the risk would be to Kim in this procedure?

That makes two of us...

Okay, can someone refresh my memory: What are the risks to Kim for the stem cell treatment?

She'll become more stupid.

:p

Okay, that answers the question.

I'm sure this "smart Kim" was entirely planned by the writers because they knew our expectations for her were so low... nicely done.

Well, after the debacle that was the Smallville finale, this rocked. I like the dangling threads that hopefully will be explored next season.

Jack will return and be more Bad-Ass than ever. And at least Soul-Patch is still around to return and further be a thorn in Jack's side.

:techman:

It was a pretty uneven season but I'd say it leant mostly on "good" and left a LOT open for next season -as I said it ended on a lot of momentum.

I believe Jack's Kill Count ends at 27.5.

Well thanks a lot for fun commentary folks, hope to see you all here tomorrow -- err, next year! :D

Thanks for that, yeah, I've missed doing that as well. I gotta have Dennis for inspiration.

Good season folks. I've enjoyed it greatly, and enjoyed chatting with all of you.

Hope to see some of you folks with Stargate: Universe debuts in a few months.

Decent enough season, just didn't feel like it was quite "finished" when it ended. Felt like another 10-15 min could have left things in a much more completed place...

Good season and now I look forward to next season!

In January. :(

With a reborn Jack.

A bad ass Agent Freckles

A scowling Janice and Chloe and our rapid-healing First Gentleman!

See you all next season.

Same Bad Ass Channel.

Same Bad Ass time!

You hit the nail on the head. It just felt like they ran out of time or something. I'm not opposed to leaving some hanging plot threads but a little bit more closure would've been nice.

I stopped watching 24 during the middle of the season, but from what I saw, starting with Redemption, a handful of episodes at the beginning, and the season finale, I can tell it was a lot better than Day6.

Overall it was far, far better than Day 6.

What else could the Prez do? Her character is back next season isn't she?
She could have taken credit for ordering it herself, thus protecting Olivia and securing her place in the pantheon of badass Presidents. As it stands now, she still looks like an ineffectual weakling. Hodges murdered her son, murdered hundreds of other people, and tried to hold the government hostage using biological weapons. And her response was to give him a full pardon.
If the deal was a lie just to get info, that would have been understandable. But it wasn't. She intended to actually go through with it when any sane person would not have.

Moral integrity is one thing, but it was fairly obvious that Olivia made the absolutely right decision in this case, and the best Allison can do is take credit for it.

I'm afraid that Jack, Tony, and GirlJack were wrong to stop the conspiracy for staging it's coup, because it is apparent that Allison Taylor needs to be removed from office for the greater good.

Olivia is being punished for being selfish throughout her entire tenure, including forcing Ethan to resign only several hours ago.

If this season was about following rules and righting wrongs, her decision to tell the truth is in keeping with the theme of the season.

I just hope Olivia doesn't end up being the terrorist baddy next year.

Yeah, I would have totally reneged on that pardon if I were the president. She handled that entire situation badly.

I agree they had to rush some things at the end. Call me a sucker but I really wanted to see Jack's reaction to his being a grandfather. I think the audience deserved to see that moment.

If Charles Logan can get a sweetheart deal, Olivia should be able to get one too. It's too bad for her she can't get a transcript of her call where she told Martin to call off the hit. Selling out Martin might be her best chance.

Well, you have the thing with FBI girl torturing the big bad for information right at the end. I think it's clear that the writers wanted to suggest that "crossing the line" and "following your heart" can be fine, if done under the right circumstances.
