I hear Captain Robau will be in the sequel?

Jayson

Vice Admiral

I can't tell you were i got this info from but there is a reason why we never see him die onscreen. I hear the opening of the sequel will delve into home he escaped. Turns out when he got stabbed it was simply a flesh wound. This is when it turns out Robau is a master ninja and he started kicking ass! He fights his way through hordes of angry Romulans and then finds to sexy femal Romulans guarding the entrance to a Romulan shuttlecraft.

As you can guess he is also a ladies man! He seduces both sexy female Romulans guards(who also happen to be twin sisters) and convinces thme to let him escape and to come with him. When the new movie opens the Enterprise discovers the pleasure planet Risa! Turns out Robau found the place and seduced all the sexy females there as well and now owns the place and has owned it for the last 25 years. The two sexy female Romulans are now his wives and he has had a child who we will learn will someday grow up to be Sisko's dad. Robau is Sisko's grandpa!

I'm so over this Robau stuff - but I have to ask... What was it that spurned all this Robau stuff? Did JJ make some comment about his badassness?

I have no idea, so I'm gonna let someone else explain that.

However, you do have to agree that Robau was one of the master bringers of Badassness as far as Federation Captains were concerned.

Lol. *concedes to the steamrolling juggernaut that is the badassness of Robau*

The Robau thing is getting really tiresome and boring*

Especially since it turns out he wasn't that great anyway. You have ample warning you're about to get stabbed, and you just stand there and let it happen. Nice.

I've only experienced it since the movie came out, so I've got at least 3 more months to go, right? :D

And of course Robau is badass, just look at what he's hiding under his sombrero. The fact that he's most probably dead doesn't matter, even in death Robau is badass. He'll probably come back to life, just to be more badass then he already is.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. His whole cache' seems based on his not being unprepared Harriman, preening Styles or feeble Esteban.

Robau is going to die at the beginning of EVERY Trek movie.

I think JJ mentioned how in Trek everyone in Starfleet looks like an idiot so that Kirk and friends can come in and save the day. So instead he wanted everyone in Starfleet to be fully capable and competent since they're supposed to be the best of the best and that the other captains should be badasses as well. Then the role of Robau was cast.

At least he doesn't just die, or we don't just lose biosigns, or anything like that. He's TERMINATED. Got to be pretty confident in your badassery sensors to stick that across the main viewer

Robau was a SISSY! he just STOOD THERE!!! I could understand if he was stabed from behind, but he had a good cupple of seconds to move.

Cap'n Robau was not stabbed; he just made the screen say he was terminated.

He is, in actuality, the guy who destroyed the Narada. He was undercover, based in the ore compartments.

And oh, he escaped before the Narada was destroyed. So this news makes good sense.

What and go out like a punk like Kirk in Generations? (Before the test audiance complained)

They didnt catch it because Robau turned and said..:

"If you strike me down i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine."
*Nero strikes and Robaus uniform crumples to the floor*

Putting aside my obligatory love of the Robau - he's surrounded by Nero's goonies. Stab or no stab, he's a dead man anyways, so what would be the point?

Also, Robau barely felt it. It was like a splinter.
