New Aliens in the movie

I've got a lot of pictures of all the new aliens in the new Trek movie. Lets play a little game here and name the aliens. 2 of these have names.

Last but not least Keenser

Nice work - though I dare not ask their source...

But I have to ask - any of the 'old aliens'? The only pic I've found is what appears to be a Tellarite cadet sitting behind Spock in the court martial scene...

Im pretty sure i saw a cadet with scaley skin and a kind of protruding part at the back of the skull, or is that an already established race?

Good heads up and screen captures Zeppster. Thought I noticed some new faces but the movie was so fast paced Scotts assistant, Keenser, was the only one I really noticed.

...So we're accepting this as another sign of an alternate reality?

I can be down with that...if Steven Hawking is comfortable with parallel universes so am I.

The one between Kirk and Uhura; I turned to a friend and gave the punchline "Why the long face?" He said he was thinking of the same joke.

That alien doctor might be a Delasi - the same species ensign Vehau belongs to. They are mentioned in "Doctor's Orders" and they are described as being nocturnal humanoids with large eyes.

There's unknown aliens through all of Trek. Especially in Trek's I-VI.

That first Delta Vega creature, was it the same creature that the Klingons had on Rura Penthe in TUC, they looked fairly similar meaning they might be related?

I noticed the new aliens as well, but I chaulked it up to the altered timeline. Not sure if that's the real reason, but it works in my head.

Little dissiapointed that we still ended up with mostly human-shaped aliens despite the improved budget. None of these aliens would've looked out of place on TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT, really.

The nurse alien kind of reminded me of a worth1000.com "real life manga" contest ;)

There is one not pictured above that is on the bridge of the enterprise. Somebody says something and they cut to reaction shots, and this alien is a big close up right between 2 human close ups, and she looks female, that's all I can say. Dark coloring.

And there's the orion roomie too.
