I already have tickets for this Friday at 10PM!

Today Is The Day...
Okay, so today is the day that just about all of us (those who don't mind the crowds) will be seeing the film we have waited for for seven years. We've debated, we've swooned, we've complained, and we've hoped for the best.
So, what are your plans for the day?
Personally, I'm a little disappointed because my entire family was going to go with me. My Dad is especially excited to see this movie, and he doesn't even really like Star Trek, and he hates spending so much money on a movie. He is a firefighter with the L.A. County Fire Department here in SoCal, and he's been sent up to Santa Barbara to help with the large fire burning up there, so he won't be here to see the movie with us.
But, I'm still really excited to see the movie, and I'll make sure to bring my Dad with me when I see the movie in IMAX. Today, I'll be driving by the theater early to see if any lines are starting early. Yeah, I'm crazy. I'm pretty anal about getting good seats, so I'll be lining up pretty early for this. The show starts at 7 pm. Q'apla!

Well I won't be. I'll be going this weekend to avoid the crowds. But midnight tonight is the first showing of this movie.

Why Midnight when I can go Prime Time. 7:00 showing, preceeded by Dinner. Already have tickets and counting down the hours.

Was going at 12:01 but the addition of earlier screenings caused us to scrap those plans.
Kinda disappointed because now I wont have an excuse to be in "Trekkie" mode.
