Favorite "Fast Food" ?

Okay. Let's first off agree that fast food is vile, processed, destructive and terrible. I rarely eat fast food... but when I am in that very rare, disgusting mood to eat french fries and fast food burgers, I vote:

Wendy's
Wendy's dollar menu after a night out putting a few back with your buds is one of the greatest things ever. Crispy chicken and fries? Oh yes. Baked potato with everything? Hell yes. Super huge Unsweetened Iced Tea? Bring it on. And throw some nuggets and a frosty on that. Wendy's wins.

Note your option has to be one of the top 13 fast food chains (you can't pick a regional like Five Guys). They are listed in the poll. Further down the chain are Sonic, White Castle, etc etc. -- not sure how "Pizza Hut" made this list, favorite pizza is an entirely different discussion.

It would have to be a McDonald's cheese burger. They're so cheap and so tasty - I'm sure I could eat about eight of them in one sitting.

I'd probably die shortly after but still, the idea is always there.

Well out of all those i've only ever heard of McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Subway.

I went with McDonalds because i'm not much for eating pizzas at those places, at burger king I only like their chicken royale burger and subway i've never been.

I've never purchased anything from any of these places. I went to a mcdonalds once when I was 7 years old as part of a school friend's birthday party. But I didn't enjoy what I was served. That's the only time.

I prefer to prepare my own meals. I've never much enjoyed food that's been made up in a shop.

McDonalds is pretty dependable around here. I like the double quarter pounder with cheese. Subway is cool too when I want to believe I'm eating healthier. The fries at Rallys/Checkers are awesome.

Since I can't have Five Guys, I'll take a Whopper w/cheese, plain. Chipotle's ok as well and I remember liking Jack in the Box when I was out west. you really couldn't pay me to eat at the rest of those places though...

I'd be hard pressed to picka favorite. Wendy's makes a great, huge, greasy cheeseburger, and the thick cut fries aren't bad. As Gwud said, McDonald's makes a tasty tiny cheeseburger, and after a night and a few drinks, I can stumble off with a whole bag of the damn things in a drunken stupor. Subway is good for cold cuts, and Quizno's is the place for taosted subs. I like Chipolte. Chick-fil-a does a good fried chicken sandwich, and I probably eat there more than anyof the other places.

Arby's ain't what it used to be. Pizza Hut and Long John's make me ill. It's the oils they use. I have eaten Burger King since I was a child and Taco Bell since college.

I have Jack in the Box quite frequently. It's not my favorite. In 'N Out is. But since it's not on the list, i'll go with Jack.

Just wanted to point out for those that might not know, Carl's Jr. is the same thing as Hardee's, but on the west coast.

I picked Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Subway. But really my favorite is In 'n Out.

McDonalds - chicken nuggets and chips. Burger King - bacon double cheeseburger and chips. Subway - whatever I fancy that day. Pizza Hut lunchtime buffet just before a trip to the cinema. All meals accompanied with coke/pepsi.

No love for Chick-Fil-A?!? They have the best fast-food, imo.

/Wendy's is very good when you have the late-nite munchies. They have the best honey-mustard chicken nugget sauce.

Quiznos is probably my favorite out of the choices given, but I've been known to grease several McDonalds cheeseburgers when hungover......

My favorite 'fast' food was this antelope steak I had one time. You ever see those guys at full speed?

Of the perhaps 4 of those that are actually available here, Subway would be my choice. Having encountered most of them in the US, Subway would still be my choice
went in a Quizno's once in Idaho, tried to order their veggie option, you can't imagine the confusion. It's a good thing I'm not acutally a vegetarian, my sandwich came with a full layer of salami in it. Learnt a thing or two about Idaho that day

Recently discovered that Quizno's has made the odd appearence in the UK. Milton Keynes has one I believe.
