Assuming This Movie Is A Hit, What Do We Call The New Timeline?

Alternate 1985

 

It's all gone, Timeline and Cannon - Gone.

Assuming there will be additional movies, Paramount has made a profit with every Trek movie, just pretend every Trek TV episode and movie are all individual and unrelated.

The New Timeline - Carl

I assume that a few people will call them "Real Trek" and "Fake Trek".

(The question is: Which is which?)

 

We could start numbering Star Trek's alternate timelines (there have already been quite a lot, just have a look and check) like Marvel Comics' alternate universes... Federation-1 up to God knows what.

sorry, Back to the future on Easter Bank holiday mondays, its the norm, i got so used to watching it it started to take over my life, some bank hollidays i even crack open the dvd set just to make me happy.

The Bright Mirror Universe... unless by some unlikely happenstance this movie turns out to be a POS. In the case of the latter, then it'll be called the BM universe.

 

"oldTrek" and "nuTrek" is what I'll use.

"Trek-That-Was" is cute, but both too cute and clumsy.

Although I also like that "nuStar Trek" or "nuTrek" that I've been seeing too.

 

STINO = Star Trek In Name Only

 

TITS = The Initial Timeline Stream

NUTS = Nu Timeline Stream

TOS = Classic Trek

TNG = The Next Generation (obviously, TNG/DS9/VOY)

NuTrek = 2009 On. (Till somebody changes things again... )
