The inspiration for this topic came to me when my boss and I were sitting down for a chat this afternoon. Not so much the chat, as the stockpile of Rich Tea biscuits in the tin nearby, of course.
I then thought to myself: I like biscuits as much as the next person, but there are so many out there, from good old Digestives, Walkers Shortbread and Malted Milks, to the more sophisticated Oreos and Bourbon biscuits, to the famous Jammie Dodgers and other products that are either cakes or biscuits depending on who you ask (see Jaffa Cake and Tunnock's Teacake).
But which is the most popular type of edible biscuit here in the TrekBBS? Which deserves to be crowned King of Biscuits?
Me, I still have a weakness for the Rich Tea - a subtle warrior of a biscuit, appears bland and unassuming, but highly addictive. Similar with the lovely buttery taste of Walkers Shortbread - in fact my first dog LOVED shortbread. However, my first and only true love is still the chocolate HobNob.
