The trailer made its exclusive debut on Apple.com/trailers on March 6th giving fans a sneak peak of this summer's highly anticipated Star Trek for viewing on their Mac or PC, iPhone or iPod with video.

Good times to be a fan, who would have imagined this in their wildest dreams?!?!?! Just 6 years ago we where just served up Nemesis which flopped and we had Enterprise dying on TV - and now this?

It's a fantastic and well put together trailer, so this is hardly surprising. Hopefully the movie is just as good, but you get the feeling it will be.

you know i went to watchmen just to see the trailer. they didn't play it with my screening, so i walked out and talked to the manager. he said to go see it on another screening that was starting in ten minutes. we went to the other screening. they played different previews, but they didn't play it there either. i ended up missing 30 minutes of watchmen (no big loss after all) to try to see the star trek trailer that wasn't there. bummer.

Ah but it says 'Downloads' not views, therefore if I downloaded the trailer and watched it 100 times its still only counted as one download.

I was in the same boat as you this past weekend. I even went to see it IMAX and was SO stoked to see the new trailer (which would have been my first time as I refrained from watching it earlier in the day online). Of course I was let down with Harry Potter as the only trailer being shown.

I've had bad luck with ST trailers. I saw the teaser in front of Cloverfield, but that's it. I saw QoS and it had no ST trailer and now Watchmen.

Oh well.

They've had 720p and 1080p downloads of movie trailers for years.
