We will be having a big party to close out Meat Week, but I believe the host has kindly obtained a copy of the 2001 game to watch, as nothing kills an appetite faster then watching the Squeelers win the Superbowl.
Luckily you won't have to watch that tape as the Steelers will be losing on Sunday.

My mom told me yesterday to cheer for the Steelers because she's originally from Pittsburgh. I was unaware that the Steelers were in the Super Bowl. I asked her if Jerome Bettis was still on the team. She said he retired several years ago. I asked her who I would know on the team. She said, "Ben Roethlesburger (sp?)." I replied, "Motorcycle Face?" She said yes.
I'm not as up-to-date with the sports world as I used to be.

I've watched every Super Bowl live or off tape since my Redskins beat the Dolphins back in the early 80's.
I've got next week off, and the the junk food is loaded in the cupboards, so I'm all ready for another all-nighter!
I'm really not sure who to support. I've always had a soft spot for the Steelers, they are a good, solid, genuine American football team with a great history and support, and they usually rank just below the Redskins & Dolphins as team I would root for in the big game.
But you have to love the underdog, And I can honestly say I never thought I would ever see the Cardinals in a Super Bowl!
Them & the Lions are usually utter tripe. So it would be a genuine thrill to see them take it all this season.
So it is a genuine win-win situation for BRG!

PS- As tonights game is on the BBC, we not only do not get the Star Trek trailer, but we do not get one single ad-break all night. Sweet!

I will most certainly be watching. I have been watching ever since Super Bowl XXIII (49ers' second win over the Bengals), with varying degrees of interest. The last two have been AWESOME. If a Super Bowl matchup is a combination of the Cowboys and the Steelers or the Patriots, that's the worst possible matchup in my eyes. So, Super Bowl XXX (the THIRD Cowboys/Steelers Super Bowl) really sucked for me.

Yep, I'll watch. Not a big Steelers' fan, and they're a rival, so will be rooting for the Cardinals (although don't really care either way).
Makes me mad, as a NE fan, though, to see a team we beat by 40 points playing in the Superbowl, while we didn't even make the playoffs, and with a better record

I was going to watch it but can't, the channel it's normally on has been swapped over to ESPN exclusive, which our company can't get.
