Anything under 6ft is unmanly.

I could take him.

Have you ever found that tall people are all smug and superiour? They walk around like they own the world and they don't have to watch where they're going, you have to get out of their way. I fuckin' hate these guys. Like just because you're some amazon freak, that doesn't make you better than me.

Anyone else have problems with arrogant tall people?

Bitter?

So does a thread complaining about tall people get closed too?

You know, I'd say this pretty much proves that Misc doesn't have an institutional bias against women like some people claim it does. Seems kinda sexist that this thread would be left open while the one about small women was locked rather quickly.
As a tall man, I am not offended by this thread. Mostly because I'm bigger than T'Baio and I can easily just push him out of the way if he irritates me. I'd be all arrogant about it too.

I have the fullest confidence in challenging him to a fight. But only as he's too dead to answer. Thoguh if he were still alive... it'd be brown trousers time

On a side note... I'm actually surprised at how short the cast of Lost are.

Perhaps you should only fight him in a battle of wits.

Thanks, buddy. :D

^^ I remember it well, especially since I had a girlfriend who was nearly a foot shorter than me at the time. :rommie:

And enough with the stupid parody Threads. I'll leave this one open since it's somewhat risen above its origin (which wasn't difficult, really), but no more.

I like tall people. They fetch things off the top shelf at the grocery store for me -- I don't even have to ask, I just have to stand there and look cute and helpless! When there are no tall people around, I have to resort to jumping and snatching, or knocking down and catching. Plus, tall men are sexy.

:D :D :D :D

Murdering your wife and son and then killing yourself is not manly.

Several people have told me that I'm the kindest person they know, and I'm 6'3", so there's at least one flaw in your generalisation. In fact the biggest assholes I ever met were guys a foot shorter then me, but that doesn't make me be negativly biased towards people shorter then me. I'd be hating a lot of people if I did.

Why hello there, dear lady :D
Short people can be sexy. My girlfriend is 5'0. I'm 6'3. We make a very cute and disproportionate couple.
Yes, very much so.

And I didn't quote it but agree with tsq's mention of sexiness points. I prefer women a bit shorter the me, but that doesn't mean that I can't find a woman taller then the "preffered height range" to be sexy. It's just that I'd find her even sexier if she was within that preffered range.

I still think it'll be clanged eventually.

For the record, 6'1". Which isn't any record, but still manly. :)

I am glad at 6'1", I am manly. I know plenty of unmanly people over 6 ft though.

I'm only 5'6" Sometimes it annoys me sometimes it amuses me. Can't do much about it though.

I'm 6'4" by your inferior imperial measurements and I have to say I probably had to the stereotype of tall arrogant people, though I'm not really that tall. I feel the need to keep my chin up when I'm in a crowd and given my appearance (height, stature and ethnicity) I am an intimidating person. I use my height to enhance that effect, which is partly due to the fact when I was younger and smaller I was subject to a racist minority. At times when I catch myself doing this I'll try to break it so I don't appear to be that confronting to strangers.

Also it can be quite embarrassing to be taller then others. I often find myself at a position where I'm looking down the tops of women and that does make me slightly uncomfortable. Last week I was at a certain place and the person serving me I could see right down her top and it was uncomfortable for me to deal with her since to look at her I couldn't avoid looking at her cleavage. To counter that I focus on something away from her top and that also adds to the sense of aloofness I give off.

^You see that as something bad? I see that as a perk of being tall, because I can't look anywhere else without being rude!

Tall men are tres sexy.

Trippy, a 5'11" woman who finds it hard to find a man taller than her

True, that's the problem. I don't want to be rude and seen like my ogling her breasts or that I'm specifically looking away so it seems I suffer neck spasms. I have less problems if I know the woman in question since I know that they know I'm not drooling over their cleavage. Though when I was in college, when it became apparent I was a bit prudish about breast several girl use to jiggle or play with their breasts in front of me to specifically make my uncomfortable, which led to some very unusual happenings with girls jiggling or flashing their breasts at me. It actually meant I got on better with the women of my floor as they knew that I wasn't just friends with them because of their cup size. So that's a plus.
