Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spoiler

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

So are they wanted fugitives or is The Sentinel just ignoring that they stole KITT and destroyed KARR?

As HoloGraiman said at the end of the episode Knight Industries was no longer involved with the US Government and that KITT was their property... though they did seem to be somewhat concerned that the Government would catch on to their use of the KITTCave tonight (despite Sarah owning it).

Excellent episode! The tension was awesome and I have to confess I did not see the scared woman thing coming. I like the way there were lots of several twists and turns I didn't see coming. I was also glad that KITT was kept involved and took an active part in several scenes (especially covering the hostage while the cops helped him). I'm liking this reboot so far. :)

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

Me and Mrs. Psion caught this by accident. We watched the first three episodes of the series and she couldn't resist rolling her eyes and giving me The Look every commercial break. When she saw what was on tonight, the rolled eyes flashed, but we were both hooked by the end of the teaser.

Good job, Knight Rider!

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

I've missed every episode since they came back on New Year's Eve, so I'm a bit out of the loop.

This episode was pretty good compared to the rest of what we've been subjected to this year (though that's not saying much).

]Ok, I think they're begining to strain the "Knight" in episode titles thing.
The original had 4 seasons of "Knight" related titles. They're not going to run out anytime soon
There was only one "Knight" title in the first season, and only six "Knight" or "KITT" puns in the second season. It wasn't until the last two that it finally went overboard. But even then, they weren't as awful as some of the new show's have been.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

This is what the show should have been from the start, except Graiman should have stayed as the patriarch. This episode would get an EXCELLENT from me if there were grading as well.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

I have a feeling that you messed up and forgot the poll cause you didnt want to see about 10 poors and not a single average good or excellent. Cause this show makes Flash Gordon look like Battlestar Galactica in its first season...I cant believe they even allow this show to see the light of day what with the terrible acting and Lame story lines...OMG!! What a waste of money!!!

Nah, I genuinely forgot to check the box for it.

KITT vs KARR was pretty good, up until KITT vs KARR.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

I really enjoyed this episode. Probably the best of the season/series thus far. It felt like "Die Hard". Fun, well paced, very good and well placed action. I do miss Charles Graiman, but with the downsized cast, everyone has their part in the mission instead of just standing around.

There was no grade on this thread, but if there were, I'd give it an 'Excellent'.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

Really good episode and KR been quite good since the re-tool, pity NBC didn't advertise the re tool properly or that the show didn't start like this.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

Best episode by far, because:

1) No BS tech of the week. KITT's matter replicator was offline for the entire episode.

2) KITT (sans Michael) was more mobile than ever before. Nice to see the car taking people to hospital and moving into position to protect the SWAT from fire. We need more moments like that.

3) For KR, the plot was complex, with a few twists and turns. I was asking the same questions as Sarah, like "WHY are these guys making such a loud fuss about getting into the bank?"

4) The villains were, well, BAD. Letting a hostage go and then shooting him in the back? That's cold, especally by KR standards.

This was what the show should have been like from the start, and the 3 dropped characters weren't missed at all.

I still missed Graiman.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

this episode proved that they could actually make a good show out of what started off as stupid as heck

"Kitt, get me surveillance on the rich dude's back yard- oh look bikinis!"

now it's "Kitt, let's kick ass and worry about names later."

still, nowhere near the best show on TV, but this show doesn't need to be . . . seriously, who expects a show about a talking car to win Emmys? I don't, but I do want a fun show to watch. They managed to pull it together, and let's hope they keep it together.

Tiki Barber next week? should be interesting to say the least

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

I loved it!! It was tight, gripping, and exciting. Just like Sarah.

Seriously, I liked the reboot. it got rid of all the dumb, convoluted super spy garbage. It is now back to a small team fighting crime. The writing was a bit smarter as well (smart for Knight Rider). KITT now seems like another character instead of just a tool. I like. But it still needs an occassional beach/pool side scene though.

NO. If you want T&A, then go to the InterWeb.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

I should check out this world wide net thing. Boobies you say?

By the way this is Knight Rider. not Masterpiece Theater. A little T&A is ok.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

FINALLY!! What this show should have been all along! Too bad we many not get the chance for many more.

Re: Knight Rider - 1x13: Exit Light, Enter Knight - Discussion and Spo

Just to let you know the ratings went up back in the 6 million range this week.
