Thanks to the Romans we know he was real. As far as the story of his birth, no I don't believe it.
Yes, I believe it's real.
I believe that there was a rebel named Jesus, and the local government killed him. Everything else? No.
I believe he was real but not to be the person people believe him to be. It's hard to believe in the son of a god that I dont believe to exist nor do i plan on wasting time to attempt to find any truth in whatsoever. Then again, I find western religions to be a waste of time in general, and a waste of just about everything that goes with it. Time, money, building space, you name it.
Oh well, whatever helps people sleep at night I guess even if it is a a falsified coping method to resolve fear of the unkown. I just find it funny that people replace fear of the unkown with even more unkowns. I guess people would rather lie to themselves than live knowing that we are alone.

I believe that Jesus was real, as well as the miraculous circumstances of His birth and life.
I don't know that the popular depictions of how that first Christmas night occurred necessarily get it right in a historical sense (for instance, was it even WINTER? Not to mention the delay before the arrival of the Wise Men...), but I believe what the Bible establishes as truth.

I have no problem believing in Jesus....just religions - used to control people with fear or promise of reward.
