NCAA Football 2008 Discussion - It All Starts Here.

Awesome play by Okie St's Robinson on the scramble!! But man, that Cowboy OL has to give him better protection, or Robinson's going to be hamburger before the night's over.

I'm getting discouraged at how O-State's defense is letting OU off the hook. Once again, they should have made them punt on the other side of the field. 2 minutes left, and they let OU drive down the f'ing field converting on third and longs. I'm sick and tired of this. If the defense can't get intense enough when the the time and pressure is on OU, they'll finish the game a touchdown late with yet another "moral victory." I'm sick to death of moral victories against Oklahoma. They aren't good enough anymore. Don't let them off the hook on third and long, dammit. :klingon:

If even one OSU corner had jumped a route on that last drive, it'd be a very different story. They've got to stop chasing OU and play their game defensively. It's working quite well when they do.

Thing is that Oklahoma is that good. Not that Okla. St. isn't good themselves, but the Sooners have a very well-balanced offense, and Bradford is known for being very cool in the pocket. It's not that easy to make good on all challenges against them. If the Cowboys are to win, they will have to play completely mistake free.

Irrelevent, since I am making my recommendation about their play from here on out.

Touchdown Cowboys.

I see. I've been angsting for all my 40 years over OSU. My heart broken again and again and again. It seems the key is to give up hope. My strategy has been wrong.

You all saw that ridiculous ass tip.....on third and long of course  ....that OU scored on. I've seen OSU on the losing end with OU on freaky ass plays like that too many times to count. Year after f'ing year. It gets you down after so many years. Now....can we stop OU's offense? I won't worry until third and long.

Look out Trojan fans .... Notre Dame has scored a field goal!!!!!!!

Man, the stats on thi sgame are .... amazing. Notre Dame's total yardage is under 100 for the game. Unreal... but not unexpected.

And OU drives down the field. We'll match them score for score and end up a touchdown late. Same song, different year. We desperately need one fumble or interception from OU. One mistake that they won't make. They had Bradford for a loss and he wriggles off the hook. You can't let him wriggle off the hook. sigh He's too good.

EDIT-- See what I mean? Bradford pirouhettes out of bounds doing a 360 in mid air, should have the wind knocked right out of him. They go for it on 4th and goal and score even though Bradford fumbles the snap. They simply can't stop him.

Oregon wins 65-38 and racks up 697 yards in total offense. Way to go Ducks! :techman:

No disrespect intended to the Ducks, but ... I can't believe that is the same Oregon St. defense that throttled the USC offense a couple of months ago. Where has this Oregon offense been?????

Oregon's offense has been good all season, they're 6th nationally in rushing and averaging over 30 points a game. The difference today was they didn't have any turnovers.

Oklahoma State scores and makes a two point conversion. :D

Dammit, I'm hoping again. That doesn't work. I've gotta remember to give up. That's when my team thrives. Can we stop Bradford? Will he make one frigging mistake or be flawless per usual?

Stop hoping, Dorian. Stop it. :shifty: Hope yields pain when it comes to O-State football and the big, big games.

EDIT--Aaaaaaaaaannnnd....OU rips off a 65 yard kick off return. The punter has to tackle him. 2 plays later it's first down and goal Oklahoma just like that. :guffaw:

Your guys had better beat UCLA Digits. If Oregon State backs into the Rose Bowl because USC loses, I'm gonna be pissed.

Touchdown Oklahoma on 4th and goal. Gosh, that took a whole 30 seconds. Every year with Oklahoma, the story never changes. You must play mistake free and O-State gave them that touchdown off the interception and the two points on the failed 2 point conversion and fumble earlier. It doesn't matter if we score every time they score. Bradford is simply too good. He won't throw a pick. He won't fumble.

sigh :( First 10 win season for Oklahoma State within our grasp and our defensive line simply can't get to Bradford.
