This is the closest thing to a recent topless photo of me. At that point I was tucking the bum of the jib while furling it. :P Unfortunately it was taken before I got my epic tan.

Looking goood, Captain Intrepid! Yum, brine...
Oh, I have to edit to inaugurate this one:

It suits you. It's drooling sea water.
Are you sailing on a lake, by the way?

perhaps we can organise them in a drooling army and pick an uberdrool commander to lead it.
An army of drool -what a droll idea! -Here ya' go:

And yes I made 3 entire posts today, I'm trying to get above 50 before Christmas. :)
:bolian:

Yay, nice done! It does remind me of space invaders some how! :guffaw:

P.S. I'm off to sleep now!
P.P.S. General Drool fits the name of the uberdrool perfectly!

Not quite. :p We were a couple weeks into a passage from Osaka to Honolulu. North Pacific baby!
*whistle* Respect.

Guys, that emoticon is Captain Drool to me. No general. It's got a blue tricorn. If it were black, I might agree to call it general, or whatever.

Pfff. It wasn't too bad. Now the Vendee Globe skippers? They deserve respect!

And cause I can't leave well enough alone...

Nice! Sailboats are really beautiful. Any sailing out at sea calls my respect. I haven't been further than the bay of La Baule on a sunny day. (In a tiny thing.)

Did you hear about the 16 year old sailor about to set of on a solo trip around the world? Crazy! It's going to be tough to beat Ellen MacArthur...

There really is some amazing sailing off the coast of France. The Bay of Biscay can have a bit of wind now and again... ;)

And one last picture, just cause I'm totally not posing at all...

That's true. Better contrast range too.

For the heck of it, an adjustment. Hope you don't mind, Intrepid.

Eh, I think I like the colder one better.

I agree his stance and outfit are way cooler in the former pic... if only the angle, zoom, and lighting were slightly adjusted, you would then get a better sense of the shape of the sail and boat as well... still it's a lovely photo, and I don't want to take away from that. The photographer would probably have to be on another boat to get all that in frame.

I would just like to say that I hate all of you fit, muscly people. :p

archeryguy1701, not the fit athlete that I was 4 years ago.

MacArthur isn't really the best comparison. A better one would be Robin Lee Graham, who left on his solo circumnavigation at age 16 on the Dove.
