Of the choices you presented, I'd take the guillotine. Allowed to choose my own method, I'd select death by combat - fighting an series of increasingly larger and fiercer animals until I lost.
Guillotine. It's the option that's quickest, least painful, and most likely to work flawlessly. Plus, I could make a weird face and horrify some spectators before I lost consciousness.
Yep - also has a nice horror factor. If I'm going down, I want it to have an effect on people. Leaping off a building with razor wire tied around my neck to that it severs my head as it snaps taught, leaving my head and decapitated body to plummet down into the crowd below would also be sufficiently awesome.
Firing squad. There's been too many reported instances of the head living on for a period of time after the guillotine for me to put as much faith in that.
Firing squad also. But if I was to do the tub of acid and somehow survived, would I get a lifetime supply of white makeup and red lipstick?
If it's done properly, hanging severs the spinal cord and is instant death. Also, my body could be hung out for months as a warning to not be as awesome as me.
Did anyone hear about the inmate who was deemed too overweight to hang, because his weight would cause his body to rip from his head? I don't know what the resolution was, but he obviously had no incentive to diet.
