The Saga Is Now Complete

I'm waiting patiently for November 25th when i'll supposedly be able to obtain the ebook of Lost Souls from SimonSays.com

Can carry it around on my thumbdrive, read it on my laptop, desktop, mobilephone. Been reading ebook versions for a few years now, since it's rather difficult to get hold of Star Trek books here in Singapore.

Okay,

Now I'm frustrated. Book III was supposed to ship yesterday but I got an email saying there's a delay and will now ship on the 24th. The other book I ordered with it ships on time so that ships on it's own? I don't understand why, if both books are from the same publisher and out at the same time, one gets delayed by a week and the other ships on time? And why did the delay have to be with Destiny and not the other one? It's just not fair.

Amazon came through. Mine shipped yesterday. They may have run out but it seems they have enough for preorders.

I sure the hell hope so. Like I said before I preordered mine back on Oct 6th. And as of right now, it has not shipped yet.:censored:

I preordered my copies (2) of Lost Souls back in May from BAMM.com (Books-A-Million) and they shipped yesterday. I should have them before the weekend. Yay!

I ordered mine on November 11th. I will give it until tomorrow to ship and then I am cancelling it. There's no reason to pay for over night shipping when I can get it this weekend at Barnes and Noble.

Hopefully I will know something by thursday afternoon or friday if my order is in. I haven't gone looking to see if anyone else has it out yet.

Finally!

I called Borders to see if they have it in stock. Usually they get Star Trek books weeks after everyone else does. But to my surprise they have it!

I just canceled my amazon order and I am heading over to pick it up at Borders.

Then I will be locking myself in my house and not coming out until it is finished.

Next post will be my review!!

to my surprise the local independent i shop at had it in stock. i picked it up, glad that i had only gotten a few pages into "chain of attack" on the way to work today. i won't be finishing that up right away. :)

My local Books-A-Million had several copies on the shelf but I already pre-ordered it so I guess I can wait another week or so. >.<

Glad to see everyone is already hearing that copies are on the shelfs. I might check out tomorrow if I don't hear from B&N in the afternoon. I'm really hoping they call so I can pick it up before I go into work that night.
Can't wait to start my mini series that is tied to this whole trilogy.

I've read the book already, so I'm just waiting for a copy to show up at a local bookstore instead of ordering it.

But, just to keep everyone informed, I'm still waiting for that copy of Peter S. Beagle's book Writing Sarek that I ordered three years ago from Conlan Press. Supposedly Beagle keeps finding more bits and pieces to add to the manuscript, so the book keeps getting pushed back.

And Amazon.ca is telling me that it may be another couple of months before it can send me the new 2-CD reissues of Ultravox's Vienna and Rage in Eden albums that have been on UK store shelves for a month already, but at least it's finally shipped my copy of Russell T Davies's book The Writer's Tale. Also still waiting to receive the copy of that Star Trek collectibles magazine I ordered from the publisher.

I'm still waiting for the copy of Serenity: Mirror Images I preordered in 2005.

Of course, the fact that I never wrote that book, nor never will, ruins the joke. :D

Well, I'm still waiting for a copy of the Family Plots anthology, for which I wrote a story in 2002 or something, shortly after which the publisher seemingly imploded.

I have that effect on people.
