Belated Happy Halloween, and as of 18 minutes ago, Happy Birthday to me. :p

Not often the birthday-dude gives a gift, but ah well. I'm generous. :p

The November Edition of Rare Trek Photos is on-line!

http://www.trekcore.com/specials/thumbnails.php?album=30

There are few personal favorites, which I'll reference but not thumbnail as... no one discussed October's edition much when I thumbnailed some stuff! :vulcan:

That said, page 1, top row right hand, the cast of Wrath of Khan posing for a cast photo, interrupted by Harve Bennett. My question? Who the hell is the kid behind Nichelle Nichols?

Page 1, third row left. Denise Crosby in the wake of her own... wake. Sort of. I've always wondered how much Denise Crosby regrets departing TNG considering how much of a success it turned out to be. I've never had the nerve to ask her when I meet her. And I'm sure whatever answer she gave wouldn't truly answer it.

Fourth row right, Janeway and Q. This is an in-house (as far as I know) UPN promo photo I acquired. I don't think it was ever released/used anywhere, but I can't be 100% certain.

Page 2, second row middle. This is an unused publicity photo of RDM from 1998, so... end of the 4th, beginning of Voyager's 5th season? I think? I have about a dozen others of him on that basic black background, which like that one, require pain-staking restoration work.

Fourth row center. Patrick Stewart posses with Star Trek's first set of wheels, the Argo.

Bottom row left. This one, folks... yeah, this is special. I doubt many people (outside of Canada) have seen this publicity photo of Brent Spiner from Insurrection. As far as I know, it's never been released in any manner other than as one of four Canadian TV Guide covers. Now you want to be impressed? What you're looking at IS that TV Guide cover. Through the magic of photoshop I was able to remove all the gunk and repair the damage and grain caused by age and cheap paper. If you're all really nice I'll show you the comparison side-by-side image of original and fixed. :p

Enjoy!!

Oh Yeah, almost forgot...

IF YOU ARE A U.S. CITIZEN, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW VOTES ON NOVEMBER 4th!

Happy birthday! And thanks for the "present."

It looks like this dude who sat at Tactical during Saavik's KM test:

And who was also on the bridge when Kirk storms in and orders "Stop Energizers!" (whatever the hell that means):

thanx for the link and pics, :)

I can see loads of you support Obama, I hope he wins and I hope many of u vote for him :) :bolian:

Another batch of interesting stuff. I hope Whoa Nellie will be along to see that picture of Patrick from First Contact. I've never seen that B&W picture of Frakes before. That shot of Jim and Bones shaking hands as Bones arrives on the Enterprise in TMP has always been a favourite of mine.

Thanks. :)

I liked this one from the set of "The Apple".

It's always weird seeing Spock smile. Nimoy is one thing, but while in Spock make-up? It's weird! :vulcan:
That's what makes it, though. Even though their faces are turned away from the camera, you can tell that Shatner and Kelley are smiling, too. I'd guess maybe a blown take that cracked everyone up, and they're turning to go back and do it over again, but that broad smile on Nimoy/Spock's face is what makes the shot.

That picture of Tuvok on the second page kind of looks like a Gap ad or something.

LOL :guffaw:

Those are very nice pictures, I like the one of Data a lot:techman:

Ditto. ;)

Word. :techman: Still creepy seeing Spock smile though!

Because of a very sweet heads-up, I saw it and have now saved it to my hard drive. Thank you! :)

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

^^ Which photo of Patrick? You said FC, but the only ones are from INS and NEM. *Confused* :p

^ :alienblush: I think I meant Insurrection. I'm old. All these pesky TNG films are blending into one. Also, distracted by nice smile and big gun! :guffaw:

I had no idea Reagan visited the Trek set. Any idea which episode he was watching?
