This week's choice, from a suggestion, is Jake Gyllenhaal.

Actor Jacob Benjamin "Jake" Gyllenhaal (pronounced jill en hall) was born December 19, 1980. The son of director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner, Gyllenhaal began acting at age ten. He has appeared in diverse roles since his first lead role in 1999's October Sky, followed by the 2001 indie cult hit Donnie Darko, in which he played a psychologically troubled teen and onscreen brother to his real-life sister, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal. In the 2004 blockbuster The Day After Tomorrow he portrayed a student caught in a cataclysmic global cooling event, alongside Dennis Quaid as his father. He then played against type as a frustrated Marine in Jarhead (2005). The same year, he won critical acclaim as Jack Twist in the film Brokeback Mountain.

Gyllenhaal has taken an activist role in supporting various political and social causes. He appeared in Rock the Vote advertising, campaigned for the Democratic Party in the 2004 election, and promoted environmental causes and the American Civil Liberties Union. (wiki)

He was voted #10 in Elle (France) Magazine's "15 Sexiest Men" poll (June 2007) and People Magazine named him one of the "50 Hottest Bachelors" in 2004 and 2007.

I am a straight male and am therefore uninterested, but I will say that the dude keeps getting more and more buff. Good for him.

I don't think I've voted "no" before. But I am here. Another guy with a nice body but he does nothing for me.

I'm surprised that Prince Of Persia didn't earn him more votes. :rommie:

I've never seen him in anything, and he looks average at best in the photos. I go with Sideways.

I thought I'd already posted in this thread.

Anyway, meh from me. Nice bod in some of those shots but otherwise...meh.

Meh.

Notice how men get better looking the older they get? It really is unfair that lines and wrinkles and age tend to make a man sexier but on women it just ages her. I've seen men complain about crows feet on aging beauties, and yet us women tend to drool over a man with laugh lines. Why is that??

As an aside, could someone please tell me how to remove all the dead space at the bottom of my post?

I've had a couple of suggestions for Christian Slater for next week. What do you think? Or maybe Gregory Peck?
